1st time going to Fatz and it was pretty good. Appetizers were pretty good, but definitely get the firesticks! And the lil bread rolls with butter were amazing! Habanero sauce on your ribs is a must, but pass on the mashed potatoes.. they were a lil too tangy for my taste. Kid loved his wings. Best thing was the service, it was amazing! Our waiter was very polite, cool and attentive.

Went for breakfast on a Thursday and we were the only guests in the restaurant. Food came out fresh but they forgot the eggs on the meatlovers biscuits and gravy. Spicy sausage is an understatement as this meat is crazy hot.
A biscuit is not included with the build your own breakfast so you have to order separately or decide between one other side like grits, or hashbrowns.
The thick bacon is too thick and I love some bacon! Half of it was cooked as the other half was just undercooked fat.
Ordered a side of French Toast and it was great.
Our waitress only had our table and we never got refills on water and even put the glass at the edge of the table.
Salt shakers were dirty and stick. Floor was worse than a bar floor as it was so sticky.
Both bathroom trashcans were overflowing on the floor and it was only 10:30 in the morning.

Don’t go to this place! Over a hour and a half wait, although barely anyone was at the restaurant. Food was not edible. Entire order returned. Some pictures are attached. I suggest you and everyone you know never go unless you have a wish to die of food poisoning and have hours to waste.

Okay, so tonight we went against the bad aroma and went to Fatz to give it another try. I used to love it there so I thought how bad could it be? You silly woman. We ordered two diet Dr peppers; completely flat. When we told the waitress and she said, ” There’s nothing I can do about that.” Listen, I know you aren’t Jesus and can turn my sodas into wine, but I feel like maybe there’s something she could have done. My first bad feeling to get outta there however, I stayed hopeful. The first order of rolls were completely overcooked and breaking apart while I was eating it. I love their rolls so much I pushed through it. We are all human stuff happens. So then our dinners come. Nope, nope. I got bold and ordered a steak. Okay before anyone starts to throw bottles at me, I know that their chicken is what they really are known for and is often the best thing to get on the menu. So moving forward, the steak was so chewy and the mashed potatoes tasted as if some cleaning products were left too close to the barrel of potatoes. One of my biggest problems was the price. Now I only get one side to my steak which already kind of rubbed me wrong because when does that happen? Not in the South. Two sides are standard. I had to pay extra for Mac and cheese and honest to God the amount shown in the picture is exactly how much I got. That two tablespoons full is $3.00 extra. However, I wouldn’t have had an issue paying extra if it was worth it. My fiance eating with me ordered the 1 lb of ribs. You can see in the picture that not only they looked dry as heck, but that there was no way that is was close to a 1lb. The side of beans is Bushes beans which kind of adds to the crazy of the price. $19.99 for the plate. One shining light was the second basket of rolls. Delicious honestly. Above all the noise is an unfortunate discovery on the ceiling where we were sitting. Spots on the ceiling looked just like black mold. I’m not accusing anyone of anything but definitely need to get it checked out for sure. So our adventure ended in an abrupt trip and dinner elsewhere.

Went because I remembered the great food. Found this still true. The food was amazing and a lot for a reasonable price. They are mindful of social distancing and the staff wore masks. This brings me to the 4 rating. All was great except we had to ask for the bread after the appetizer arrived. Also had to ask for a side that should have come with the meal. There are numerous other examples supporting why I was just disappointed with our waitress, and I am usually very tolerant, one being the meal took way too long. This may have just been a bad night, but the waitress was very pleasant, so I’m not sure what was going on. I didn’t bring it up to the manager because we had been there 1-1/2 hours and were ready to go. I’ll definitely go back, just hope for better service.

I refuse to give more then 1 star. Ordered my food at 5:30pm for pick up at 6:30pm. Got there are 6:30 and it was not ready, waited until 7:05 pm and someone who just got there ended up getting their food right away. I got mine finally and when I got home (10 minutes away) EVERYTHING was disgusting! My calabash chicken bread was soggy, my jumbo fried shrimp was soggy and my medium steak was dry. The Mac n cheese was tastesless and left me disappointed to have spent as much as I did on 5 meals and only my sons popcorn shrimp was worth a damn. Thanks for allowing me to waste that much money on my wedding anniversary!

Fatz in Lexington sc started serving breakfast and wow! It is amazing!! Best I’ve had in the area! Pancakes are fluffy and seriously as big as the plate, and the “billionaires bacon” is a must try thickest cut bacon that I think exists, cheese grits are great and beautifully garnished eggs priced under $12 definitely coming here at least once a week!
