Lovely spot! Great food. Very fresh! It’s hard to find fresh tasting sushi in this area! Loved the pebble beach roll, delicious scallops and sauce. Overall the best sushi place we’ve been to since moving to the area from California.

Sashimi – I have had the 20 piece mixed sashimi dinner. The white fish is notable and the salmon sashimi! Chef Scott has chosen the best salmon to make his sushi with. The amount of fat on the salmon is more than any other on the ms gulf coast. The fat really shines through! Almost like butter.
Ramen – the fried ramen is packed with seafood
Rolls – the pebble beach roll and the firecracker roll are amazing! I am sure the other rolls are great too!

Ordered the Calamari. Not only was the price different from what’s online and they double taxed, it’s a very small portion that didn’t fill a small container and most of it was burnt. The waitress that took my order was very sweet and friendly though. She is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. Will not be returning or recommending anyone else to go.

After being stationed in Hawaii and being detached to Japan, it was hard for me to find a sushi place that was on the same level, until I found Fatsumo Sushi. This place has the best sushi I have had on the MS Gulf Coast. How good is the sushi? My 10 year old daughter, who is the pickiest eater ever, tried the Jamaican Me Crazy roll and loved it. My two favorites are the Fatsumo Roll and the Little Miss Sunshine, but everything is amazing IMO. I love their spicy tuna and all their house-made sauces. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The venue is small, but very cozy and comfortable. If you’re looking at the amount I paid, keep in mind I get 4-6 different rolls when I go. I like to have a variety of deliciousness. Spot is perfect for take-out if you want to eat at the park or beach, which are only a short walk from the restaurant. If you’re looking for sushi, this is the place to go.

My lunch was nothing short of fantastic. I live for fresh tuna and I have not had tuna this good since I was in Ft. Lauderdale. The staff was incredibly attentive and the chef/owner was knowledgeable and made beautiful food. Will absolutely return!

Honestly don’t know what happened to this place. Fish tasted soapy and service was not amazing. Could audibly hear the server talking mess because ONE thing was sent back. Wasn’t upset about it because stuff happens, until she wanted to be rude. It made the rest of the time feel hostile. Just odd all around.
On top of that, the appetizers they charge almost $10 for are the size of a half dollar, for things most restaurants charge half for. I used to recommend this place to anyone that would listen, sort of disappointing.

My weekly spot. Recently moved to the Pass and love coming here! Their sushi is SO fresh! Chef is so kind and Morgan and her husband are so sweet. Smiley roll is the best! Their eggrolls are like no other. Everything is amazing. Best sushi on the coast.
