I was at The Lodge for an afternoon reception and wedding, and Father Mulligan’s has an extremely convenient happy hour from 2-5PM on Friday and Saturday. Suffice it to say, we stopped by to down a drink or two before the festivities.
The bartenders were very friendly and the cocktail of the day was a fruity vodka/cranberry/grapefruit cocktail topped with a fruity sour. It was very drinkable and our orders came out quickly.
Their wine list also has some unique gems on it, definitely worth a look.
Overall, can’t complain about the service and the cocktails were well received for a reasonable price considering the exclusive location.

The food is outstanding! The bartenders are awesome! They always have a smile and happy to recommend a drink or a dish.
The Ribs are a must eat!
Even more important, the service is awesome. Lynsey, what can I say…she’s kind and always willing to take care of her customers, even highly demand customers like me! She just smiles and ensures every customer leaves with a great experience! Thank you, Lynsey!!! After a nice dinner and drinks, the art hanging throughout is a must see. After that a nice stroll down to Lake Washington is a nice night cap!
I am a little perplexed as to why the new executive chef would take the amazing mac & cheese off the menu??????

Slow service. Overpriced French toast (one slice!), bad coffee, and (are you kidding me?!) “freshly baked” Macrina pastries? That is the worst bakery in the Seattle area. Leave that for grocery stores, Columbia Hospitality!!

Elegant… but expect pretentious servers. The kind of aloof bar tenders that seem to think unreceptive and cold service is a display of status or some such nonsense.
Just as any of the other five star hotels I have stayed in, I walked up to the bar while waiting for our table in the restaurant, the bartender asked me if we were sitting, I declined and said we would like to browse the art instead, she instructed me to “move” to the waiters’ window…. I felt that odd as we were reached around and in the way, while the area we had been originally standing at the up against the bar counter remained vacant. We awkwardly waited for many minutes while she avoided serving us and nonchalantly served others, then the same girl, comes over and asks us, like she didn’t just ignore us, “have you been helped” uh… no… no we had not and WOW… I guess we didn’t zig with her zag right…
Food was good. The drinks were priced ten years ahead of todays prices.
The environment, however, makes up for much of the unrefined nature of the server. Absolutely stunning art and architecture paired with an historical experience that will satisfy even the most curious and well traveled.

Family and I come here often to get coffee and a slice banana bread (without a doubt the best banana bread I’ve ever had and it’s served warm) to take on a walk around the park. We’ve had breakfast here once, too, that was quite good.
The atmosphere is like something out of a movie, the views out of the huge windows are stunning, rain or shine, and the decor is classic and chic but also a bit cozy at the same time.

Really lovely atmosphere in the lower level of the lodge at Saint Edwards Park, once a seminary and once the barbershop. Comfy chairs to sit in if they’re available. Great Mixology for the cocktails, friendly and attentive service! Ryan was wonderful.

SO AMAZING. It was such a wonderful experience, and I hope whoever manages this place gives Linsey (I hope I am spelling it right) a huge raise. We came in around 10PM and she was so kind, attentive, and personable. All the cocktails were amazing, and I can see from the way she and the other bartender (whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately) were both amazing with service, skill, and professionalism. There was also a sense of friendliness and although the bar was slow when we were there (about 6ish people?), there was still a really lovely atmosphere fostered by the two working in how they engaged with customers and made sure everyone was taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough. Also I’m so sorry if I got the name wrong, I was busy salivating over the amazing drinks she made.

Went for a hike on a sunny day and ventured in to The Lodge at Saint Edwards for happy hour at the bar. The bartenders were genuine, hilarious, and attentive. The brussel sprouts were so delicious we even ate the tiny bits left on the plate. Currently planning a girls weekend here in the fall!
