Great spot, great food, great atmosphere. We were seated right away. Waited awhile for the food, but it was well worth the wait. BBQ sandwich was excellent and so was the brisket platter. Highly recommend the hush puppies, fries, Mac and cheese, and tater salad. All were great. Nice beer selection as well. Friendly staff, if you are in Corolla, I recommend you stop in!

We had dinner at Fatcrabs and were absolutely blown away! The seafood was incredibly fresh and full of flavor—easily some of the best we’ve ever had. Every dish was perfectly prepared, and you could really taste the quality.
What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Our server did an amazing job, not only being attentive and professional but also keeping us entertained with great jokes and a fantastic attitude. It’s rare to find such a perfect mix of top-notch food and such a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent mix of BBQ and seafood! Great atmosphere, very prompt and friendly service with reasonable prices. Menu has a bit of everything so finding something for everyone shouldn’t be an issue. Will absolutely visit again in the future!

Our experience here was excellent. We dined on a Tuesday evening around 6pm, our party of 2 was seated no wait. Our server was friendly and timely in getting our drinks and appetizers right out. Brisket was super yummy we enjoyed trying the sauces provided on the table. A fun touch is the trivia cards to play together while you wait.

My party of 5 was seated fifteen minutes before our time. The server was crazy fast and efficient. Food came out of the kitchen quickly. Everything from the fried shrimp to icy cold raw oysters was perfectly prepared. Fatcrabs was very casual, from rolls of paper towels to plastic forks instead of napkins and silverware. All efforts go into the preparation of fresh seafood and it’s yummy good!

I got to try out Fat Crabs Rib Company while in North Carolina working on a content creation weekend with the K-Cross Creative group. This place was so diverse and delicious, It had options of seafood and land which is always great for a big group. Personally, I filled my plate with oysters, clams, shrimp, collard greens, hush puppies, fries, and some meat. It was delicious! Everything was so good. I even filled my plate for seconds . I am so glad we got to include this restaurant during our weekend at the three authors property!!! I love seafood and anytime you’re next to the water is a perfect time to indulge in some seafood. I heard nothing but great things about the food from the group too it’s not always easy to please A big group with food options. So this was perfect, It accommodated everyone. No one had anything to complain about!!! Thank you so much Fatctabs for the experience!!!

We had an amazing experience. Our server was Sam. She was the perfect waitress. She checked on us several times and was very accommodating. The food was delicious. I swallowed my softshell crab sandwich whole and wasn’t able to take a picture. She clam chowder and the hush puppies were also great.

I had one of the best meals of my life here! The Alaskan steam pot is a must order for anyone looking for crab legs in the Outer Banks area. Goodness gracious, just look at it! It’s fantastic! We will definitely be back when we’re down here again!
