What a great place! The service was great! Got our drinks and menu immediately after being seated. We ordered, hubby for the sampler platter and was shocked at how large it was! He loved everything..I got the steak gorganzola pasta and WOW! So delicious, I ate the whole thing! I normally cannot eat that much, but it was so good! We were impressed with this place!

The place has a fun, classic sports bar vibe with good music and a chill atmosphere. Service was impressive considering one server was covering two dining rooms and still kept things moving quickly. The food was hit or miss, with great Brussels sprouts and zucchini but disappointing fajitas that arrived lukewarm and watery, which felt more like a kitchen and management slip than a server issue.

Just had a wonderful afternoon at Fat Willys. We had appetizers and drinks. The Nachos and Caseadea were big and excellent quality. Carna Asada some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. Service was friendly and fast, and the facility well maintained. I restaurant having a sports bar side and a quieter restaurant side is a really good idea. We had a very good visit today and will be back next time in the Phoenix area.

SO disappointed. The burgers looked great (our friends ordered them) and my spouse and I each ordered the Black and Tan fish & chips. It was absolutely HORRIBLE! The fish tasted okay once you got to it, but the batter on the fish was a very poor batter and they burned them, both servings! We left a majority of the batter on the paper. So burnt hard to eat even with utensils. Our waiter came by after we ate and I asked if it was typical that the batter was that way and that it was cooked that way and he said “NO, depends on who is cooking.” My question is why did they even serve it that way?
Offered us nothing but a smile. I dont know that I would ever patron this place again. They should NEVER serve another fish fry if that is how they serve it.
Incredibly disappointing

First time going here after our sons baseball tournament. The food was excellent. We had nachos and burger and it was delicious. Our friends joined us and they said the wings were so good and meaty.

I’ve been coming here for years because the food is great and the service is phenomenal. Marisa, Abi, Ashley are the best along with all the staff. Very welcoming and on top of everything. Justin the cook also. Can’t give them the praise they truly deserve. They all deserve a big fat raise

This sports bar is next to Bashas (but on the southwestern end of the plaza) and offers a covered outdoor patio & lots of seating inside.
We’ve been here many times, but only to order food to go. The service is usually decent & the cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks, & fries are delicious!

I’d give this place ZERO STARS if it possible. We took my son to get a hair cut across the street left and got a table on the patio of Fat Willy’s. The hostess seated us and we sat us at 1:05. We sat and sat, until I called the establishment and asked if we were ever going to have a waitress come and help us. After seeing a waitress make eye contact with myself and husband and turn around and walk away we got up and left. We sat for 25 minutes. No drink or not even a hey how ya doing from anyone. This was our first time here and we will never be back. Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Sadly, they weren’t even busy. Don’t waste you’re time.

It’s unfortunate to read all of the negative reviews for this place. I have never had a bad experience, and I come here A LOT. The food is really good and fair priced, but what stands out most to me is the incredible staff. The servers and bar tenders are some of the nicest and most engaging staff around. There are hundreds of places I could go for sports and booze, but this is by far my favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I am a 67-year-old minority female. I visited the Fat Willy’s location on baseline east of Ellsworth west of crimson.
The three non-minority waitresses discriminated against my older sister and older aunt and myself.
They refused to take our order. They sat and wrapped silverware. They refused to provide service to us. We were humiliated!!!
These three waitresses asked a waiter working the other side of the restaurant to take our order.
I had a flashback to the late 60s early 70 when Denny’s was found guilty of discriminating against minorities. These three waitresses did the same thing that the Denny’s employees did in the late 60 and early 70s.
The bad behavior / bad attitude of these three waitresses is a reflection of their parents and grandparents.
We should have eaten next door at Matta’s instead.
Shame on the manager of Fat Willy’s on Baseline and Crimson, who tried to minimize our feelings and the blatant discrimination displayed by these disrespectful waitresses.
Keep your free appetizer to silence our voices!
If you are a minority don’t spend your money there.
I had to use the restroom, but I waited as I could not get out of there fast enough. We ended up stopping at McDonald’s to use their restroom. We had coffee and ice cream at McDonald’s and discussed how sad we feel. America still discriminates and has never stop discriminating.
By the way, the food was alright. Hopefully the employees didn’t spit on our food. It was clear that we were not welcomed there. C.S.
