Reviews
After leaving the lumberjack show, we set out to find a place to eat. We stepped inside and waited a few minutes for a table. At the counter, we ordered jalapeño poppers, a pepperoni pizza, a soda, and a canned mojito. Unfortunately, the jalapeños had not been cooked before being topped with mozzarella cheese and bacon, leaving them a bit too crunchy for my taste. The pizza was decent, but neither dish was compelling enough for us to return.
Service
We placed our order and paid at the counter. One staff member managed the order counter while another worked at the bar. However, there were no employees available to check on customers or refill drinks.
Atmosphere and Location
This restaurant is conveniently located just a short distance from the cruise port, right next to The Fish House and the Lumberjack Show. The space feels cramped, with supplies stacked in the walkways and tables positioned very closely together. There is not a public bathroom.
It was a little cramped with stock stacked neatly around the bar; but has a great vibe. The 10 inch pizza is enough for two. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to you. If you’re looking for a crispy, thin crust with a puffy edge this pizza checks the boxes.
We stuck with the classics – a pepperoni and a plain cheese however they did have some interesting combinations.
We grabbed a table when another family got up. Seating may be difficult as it’s a pretty small joint.
You know how we are, the name drew us to it, we had to try it. They had several local beers to try and a full bar that offered a drink called Duck Fart!
We ordered a wings and a calzone. They were both amazing! The wings were juicy and full of flavor. The calzone was a tasty pizza and wrapped up in a crispy crust and a soft inside. The place was packed, so if you go be patient, but know, it’s worth the wait. Great restaurant and atmosphere, always support local!
