I ordered the 9 strip with two different sauces and they insanely small, some more like miniature nuggets. I paid $20 for just this. Then they put both flavors in there all mixed around so they both have both sauces and I’m pretty disappointed. Not worth my money.

This place was amazing. We were looking for a place to take my son for his birthday and he was wanting burgers. He was sold when they had the deep-fried Oreos. The dessert was amazing including the funnel cake bites .

Typically locations have either good burgers, but not the fries but this place has amazing burgers amazing fries as well. We got the mozzarella sticks as well for the kids meal. Super satisfied and coming back tomorrow to try out their wing special and mac & cheese bites.

We hit this place up on our way out of town. It is located right off the interstate.

It was half past ten before I left my friend to finish packing for his voyage up north. The night was warm and the air was sticky. The slight tang of hunger reminded me of what I had long forgotten, so I searched the online codex for a suitable establishment. “Closed” “Closed” “Closed”. One shuttered digital storefront after the next, then I found it. The bold shining letters beamed from my screen. “Fat Shack”. A name I had never heard of before. Not knowing what to expect, I locked in the coordinates and made my way.

I parked next to a solidarity car, the bright red sign casting a glow across it’s hood. Inside, a plastic sheet drifted lazily in the conditioned air, cordoning half of the counter from view. I approached through an eerie arrangement of tables and scanned the menu. A specials menu on the vacant counter caught my eye, and a particular item interested the grievances of my belly. Just as I decided on my order, a man exited the kitchen and took up the counter. He input my order, and engaged in small talk prompted by the image of Zero Two prominently displayed on my credit card. After our quick and welcome chat, he informed me it will take him about 7 minutes to prepare my food.

I turned back to the strange assortment of tables, and completed a circle around the strange layout of the dining area before apprehensively settling at the chrome bar-counter. True to his word, the lone employee soon approached me with my order after a short wait. Before me sat a “Mozz Stack” wrapped up and settled on a bed of crunchy fries. Now dear reader, this may have been the result of a hungering brain, but the moment I bit into the first fry I was overcome with glee. Warm, but not hot; steamy, yet crispy. A satisfying crunch followed by the perfectly salted tang of the fried potato. I thought back to the years of fries I had consumed before, and quickly decided that none could compare. With new confidence I unwrapped my sandwich, two buns flanking three perfectly fried mozzarella sticks. The marinara shined in the LED lights. I bit, I pulled, and rejoiced in the salty sweet ribbon of cheese that stretched out before me.

Truly, this experience may have been one in a lifetime. But know now that in the last hours of the night, you may find me at the chrome counter, eating in this strange and wonderful place that is the Fat Shack

We randomly tried this place. None of us had been there before. Pretty good. Although, I thought my fat chance sandwich would have more of a kick to it. But, Service was very fast. We’ll keep this place in mind for next time.

I have never been to the restaurant but I do regularly order the cheese steaks on door dash and they are awesome. The fries are also wonderful especially when dipped in the cheese sauce.

Wings are pinky size, not great for the price glad I didn’t get the 10piece, the oil used to cook them was definitely old. So imagine that. Didn’t ask for the extraaaa mustard on the burger lol

Had the Fat Jersey. The food was ok. The honey mustard overwhelmed the other flavors. 21.95 for a sandwich and bottled coke. No additional side. No brewed tea. I would try again to see if i ordered something else if my opinion would rise. Music is a little loud. Staff was friendly and helpful

Been waiting to try Fat Shack since it opened. While the expectation and excitement was high. Some items are a hit and others are a miss. But this won’t stop us from returning.

Upon walking in, there was no one at the counter. It’s completely automated via a touch pad at the counter to place your order to the back. So we were unsure of what to try or not, and ordered too much like we usually do.

The odd part about all this is, even though there’s no one at the counter or any sort of interaction. The automated process asks for a tip? (We will leave that for you to decide)

Now as to the food; if you got big eyes and a big appetite. They have some filling dishes for you to try here. Imagine all your sides wrapped up in a burrito fashion and loaded with flavors. That’s what Fat Shack does right!

The Philly cheesesteak and the Dobbie were huge! Half of it was filling enough.

PRO TIP: Don’t order any sides – Most of the sandwiches offer the same ingredients rolled up inside…

While most of the appetizers or munchies were a miss for us. The fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. All tasted like frozen items that you could buy from Costco, reheat / fry yourself. Nothing special here.

The Wings had a great flavor and if you go on Mondays. It’s Half off. These are worth checking out, while on the small side. Flavor was good.

Stick to the Fat Sandwich’s, Phillys, and the Desserts!

The fried Oreos or fried cheesecake bites are Delicious!! If you enjoy those once a year treats at the carnival during the Rodeo. You’ll love these all year round.

We will be back for more, and now we know what’s what.

Until next time.

The Fat Jersey was phenomenal. The combo of the chicken, fries, cheese steak, and cheese sticks all smothered in their homemade honey mustard was glutinous and delicious. Definitely on the large side of portions. I should have ordered a small. The milk shakes are on par. The fried oreos and great, well breaded and evenly fried. They took great care of us very polite and courteous as they explained the menu.

The restroom was in impeccable order, very clean and smelled nice. The dining room was clean and well arranged.
