I’m a Chicago Tavern Style pizza lover. My friend has been trying to get me here for years and finally went there with him. Wow, wow, wow…. It was so good that I ordered a second one. Extra thin, well done but not burnt, only sausage. Made it into my all time top three. Nice job Fat Ricky’s…. People, go get yourself some….go, go, go!

Fat Ricky’s is the place that never disappoints!
I always come here and order the chicken parmesan pasta, and honestly… it never misses! The chicken is super tender, topped with that perfectly melted cheese that just melts your soul . The fettuccine is creamy just right, with broccoli adding a nice fresh touch to the dish.
The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is always friendly, and the food comes out fast exactly what you want when you’re hungry like a trucker .
If you’re around the area and want something that tastes homemade but even better, Fat Ricky’s is a must-stop.

We always pass by this spot and decided to give it a try. The menu was a bit confusing, so much on the paper menu with no prices. The staff was very kind though. We went with the margherita pizza and it was very disappointing. It lacked flavor, it honestly felt like i was just eating bread. The sauce had no flavor, nothing.. we waited 45 minutes , paid $35 for a bland pizza.

When ordering the food and asking a few basic questions the people working the counter did not know answers. Once the food was served 3 of the 4 orders were incorrect. The one that was correct was a patty melt that they used the heel of the bread for the top slice. Seriously the HEEL, the even tried to cut part of it off. The food is definitely not worth what they charge.

Gerald and I, along with Ivan and his boys, had our first experience together at Fat Ricky’s on the day of Romeo Con, and wow, what a treat! We were starving and looking for something good to eat, and jeeeez, their food did not disappoint.
Everything was made so fresh from the crispy mozzarella sticks to the perfectly grilled hot dogs and juicy burgers
The vibe of this family owned restaurant was super cool and chill, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. For the adults, there’s a section for gambling, adding a little extra fun for those who want to play to win.
Fat Ricky’s delivered on great food, great atmosphere, and great company. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This place is absolutely amazing!! I am a picky eater and let me tell you, the marinara was so absolutely amazing, we bought 4 quarts to take back home to Ohio. Not to mention the amazing service! But the owner is such and amazing humble person to have a drink with! I think I’ve said amazing enough…do not miss out on this place if you are in Romeoville!!

Great place to grab a quick burger! We did not have a lot of time but did not feel like grabbing anything at a drive thru. So glad we tried Fat Ricky’s! Order at the counter and take a seat, fast and friendly! We were there during lunchtime, they are very efficient. Love the decorations. Looking forward to going back next week!

After seeing many advertisements on Facebook for their Sunday brunch, I decided to get three girls together around noon on Sunday for brunch. We met at Fat Ricky’s a little afternoon noon and stood in the front for a good 3 to 5 minutes very confused because no one greeted us. I walked over to the bartender and asked if we go to the right for brunch. She said she was told brunch is over. I said that it was advertised on Facebook from 10 AM to 2 PM and she stated that the chefs were overwhelmed and they were no longer serving brunch. A wait staff overheard the conversation and said that was not true. She proceeded to talk poorly about the bartender. Very professional. We took a seat and waited for our other friends to arrive within those 10 minutes no one ever came and offered us a drink, a menu, or wiped our dirty table. The waitress and staff were so flustered and it wasn’t all that busy. I eventually flagged someone down and asked if I need to go to the Bar to fetch my own drinks and she said yes please go to the bar and get your own drinks and that’s where you would pay for brunch. So we got back up and attempted to go talk to the bartender again who was at the time telling another customer that brunch was oversold and they were not accepting anymore. I wasted 30 minutes of my life to sit in a dirty, unprofessional environment that I will never be back to. Get your S together fat Ricky’s and if you can’t handle brunch, don’t advertise it!! We went to Mcwethys and had an amazing lunch and cocktails.

Not sure you can find a better pizza than Fat Ricky’s! My favorite. Highly recommend. Truly good stuff. Love their crispy thin crust sausage! All great tasting ingredients and quality. All of their other food is just as fantastic! Everyone who works there is great too.
