Great brunch spot! Staff was super friendly and the menu has fun options for someone with a sweet tooth! Smaller inside so expect a wait!

To say I love this place is a major understatement and the customer service has always been on point. I will wait an hour and a half to get in through the doors just to be greeted by Stephanie. Her laughter is addicting! The magic that is created by her and Paul makes this a warm and cozy spot for some amazing food. Fat Dog Kitchen became a special spot for us to go have a family breakfast. Full plates of homemade food -there’s no excuse to go home hungry. We left for the winter, but we will be back!

Dogs are allowed outside on the patio. Super friendly staff and delicious food every time I go! The inside is not very big, but guests get a pager while they wait for a table. Great place for breakfast or brunch.

It’s unassuming from the street side but it’s definitely a good place to get some American comfort food in a welcoming atmosphere. Diverse collection of diners; old and young, elders and hipsters enjoying good food together. BIG delicious pancakes and skillets of potatoes and pulled pork topped with fried egg, avocado and pickled onions. Absolutely delicious food and lots of it.

Fun place, great food and great staff. Dining the way it used to be…most places just serve you, this place interacts and makes it great for everyone. The food was outstanding and with a party of seven we sampled much of what was on the menu. The kitchen showed a real flare in both presentation and flavors, while the staff had great recommendations. Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I had breakfast at Fat Dog Kitchen recently and we absolutely loved it! The servers were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The dog themed decorations helped set the tone of a casual, laid back environment to enjoy a good meal with friends and family in. The food was excellent, we loved everything we got! The breakfast poutine was our standout favorite, then potatoes were cooked beautifully and the sausage gravy it was served with was to die for. The prices were also very reasonable and the portions were plentiful, in total we spent $72 with tip. Very reasonable for 2 pastries, 3 entrees, and beverages. We will absolutely be back to this wonderful establishment.

This was our first time at Fat Dog Kitchen. The menu was great insofar as creativity and variety. We got the chicken and waffles, and the Marley (basically a fancy blt). Both were good. They were very accommodating in switching out the Marley bread for a toasted onion roll. The service was also good. The place is small so I would imagine there would be a wait on a busy day. If you like an eclectic breakfast menu, then this place is worth a try. We will return for sure.

Update: the new location is great! More space, less wait, and the food is still incredible!
Hands down the best breakfast place I have ever eaten at. If there is a wait, it is well worth it. From fresh coffee, to new specials everyday, there is always a reason for me to stop in for a great breakfast. Everything is homemade. The owners and staff are extremely friendly!
