The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and great to be around.
The food was absolutely amazing.
My wife has celiac and her food order can be complicated at times, so we try not to eat our very often. The waitress was so kind and understanding. She worked with the chef to accommodate the food order to the best possible. Seriously! We’ve never seen such service before around celiac.
We will be back for sure and thank you for making us feel so special on our anniversary. We’ve decided this is our new “special occasion” place and are thankful to have this restaurant in town. ❤️
The photos don’t even express how great the food was. I definitely recommend dinner here.
The bolognese had an almost asian spin but was very good. The duck was delicious with a sweet cherry glaze. The scallops were amazing. The fish tacos were amazingly well done. The crepes were not very good as they were stale. The shirley temple mocktail was excellent. The service was excellent. Highly recommend the basement.
The food was delicious and they offered unique options to pick from. Rabbit was tender and flavorful, I recommend this dish to get your meal started.
The Good: Everything was amazing. We had the beef tenderloin, the rabit, and the chicken. Wow! I don’t say that lightly. The food is expensive, but a solid 5 stars. The beef was perfect. The cut. The cook. The sear was serious. It was simple but wonderful. The green beans were perfect. Nothing was mush. It had texture and flavor and minimum spice. The rabit was a take on chicken pot pie. From the crisp biscuits to the cream of the sauce, it was savory and delectable. Just know, none of the portions are particularly large. The rabit is an appetizer, so it will be smaller than a meal. The chicken is full of spices. It has a maybe turkish spice palate. At least l, that is the feel i get from it. The parm gnocchi is perfect. The mushrooms are not mush. You can quickly recognize, they just don’t serve bad food.
The service is on point. They even cycle out the utensils properly. I was very impressed.
The atmosphere is not pretentious. We dressed up a bit but you don’t need a tie. It is very clean. This is not a “paper napkin” place, but it also isn’t a black napkin/table cloth place. They just keep their place sets clean and replace them when they are stained. Kudos! Well done.
The bad: The only negative remark I can come up with, is the rosemary fries. They are large tender steak fries (just so you have a reference) but mine did not have a particular rosemary flavor.
I would say, we don’t need to know how the cheffs get paid. Just wrap it into the price. Glorifying something you should already be doing is tacky.
The Ugly: absolutely nothing. Great job! It’s expensive, but if you’re willing to pay extra for a sure thing, a refined palate will not leave disappoint. If you want salt, greasy fast food… you may not feel fullfilled.
And off course, that all is not cheap. But, we will come back, soon
P.S. Dear Anastasia, I wish you will be our waitress for next visit. Thank you for the friendly attitude, quick and excellent service!!
