Stopped in while my son was doing a college tour. Place was empty but the bar tender was super cool and knowledgeable. Wife and I had a few drinks and walked out paying only 40 with a decent tip.

There’s a bartender in Hindi African American with dreads. I don’t mean to be racist I didn’t catch his name unfortunately. However, he served a woman after already acknowledging me and I simply asked him if he could serve me and he cutt me off. My father was djing and I found it disrespectful since he’s been doing that to me all night. He also tried to make my friend racist for thanking him for his service do what you will with this. I just ask something is done for this since my family helps surplus this place and this is deemed as disrespect. He tries to make himself better than the person ordering drinks that isn’t right

I don’t know the black bartenders name but he acts very rude towards white people, threatened to fight me and come around the counter because I said “appreciate it my boy”. Never meant it in a mean or racial way but he took it that way refused to serve me and threw away every drink I ordered. There needs to be a level of professionalism especially with a man who is is older than me rather than throwing a tantrum like a 4 yr old

went there last weekend for drinks and I ordered a couple shots with some drinks for me and my friend and I paid cash and got a 10 back and some change, so I proceeded to put the .50 cents in the tip jar and was going into my wallet to pull out a smaller bill ($5) to also put in tip jar because I was getting good service at first. The bartender that was standing in front of me (he had had dreads I don’t know his name) seen I put .50 in there before I had pulled out the $5 and got mad and starting yelling at me saying “that’s all your gonna put in there” then proceeded to go tell the guy that I ordered from to not make my drinks that I just paid for because I didn’t tip enough. And sure enough that guy did not make the drinks I paid for and when I tried to get his attention he looked at me and walked away. After 10 mins of asking he finally made it and refused service after because didn’t tip enough. (That he seen)

Pretty popular spot. Had a good time until I asked for WATER SHOTS for my group with on vodka shot. It was supposed to be a fun, quick drinking game, and I said I would pay for the water. I was told that they couldn’t do the round, including the WATER SHOTS, so I said ok, but they wanted me to pay for the single shot. I said, why pour the single shot if you couldn’t do the whole round? No one wanted it, so they the bar tender (marcus and friends) got mad over a single well shot no one wanted, that could have been sold in 2 seconds to someone else. SHADY BARTENDERS, SHADY SERVICE

Can’t say enough good things about this bar. I have been coming for years, 5 plus years at that. Never had a bad experience, the bar hop staff is quick. All the bar tenders are superb with making drinks. You want great drinks at a reasonable price this is the place to go. All the staff is welcoming and they tend you like family.

Went on the weekend. People were shoulder to shoulder with each other. Drink service is slow but was able to get what I ordered. The environment is okay, not a place to get to know other people. People tend to keep to themselves or in their groups. They seemed not very friendly. I’m from out of town and decided to visit friends. I am use to a environment where people are very friendly with each other and just want to enjoy their night. Female officer outside was rude. Was going in again with my friend and the officer said no without any explanation after asking multiple times. If I was the owner, I would have gotten rid of her due to the loss of business. I would try this place one more time on a weekday just to see how the service is. Understand drinks were slow do to the volume of customer being served.

I’d give them a zero star if possible. Waitress kept telling me my shot would be out. 40 min passed and I finally just left. They brought drinks around to the surrounding tables but somehow couldn’t make mine. I was going to up my tab more but now I won’t spend another dime there. Usually I’m super understanding as I work with the public (was when told they were backed up the first time) but after 40 minutes for one shot, no thank you. Wasted my time and money. First bar I hit up in Angelo ever and was highly disappointed.
