I moved to Denmark couple of months ago, but when I was back home in California, I’ll go here weekly..sometimes twice a week! That’s how much I love this place! Love the food, the atmosphere, and most of all, everyone working there ❤️
I was asleep and just remembered this place, and the great service I used to get! Had to post this
See you soon ♡

Sooo delicious! I have been here twice now and I love it!

You come in and hand pick your ingredients from a wide selection, and then your bowl is weighed and you get to choose your broth.

They have so many great options— especially their spicy ones, so tasty!

Highly highly recommend 🙂 I’ll keep returning to this place. Clean, kind and helpful staff, and overall nice atmosphere.

Overall, this is a good hotpot place, but I advise skipping their AYCE option. The skewers came out very slowly, and the staff were very strict on ordering. We waited 20 to 30 minutes between rounds, and we were told we couldn’t add to our order until the previous one came out and was finished. Stick to the à la carte menu if you decide to go.

I honestly walked in with mixed feelings. It was my first time trying hot pot ( I am a Pho fan). And I am not familiar with their settings.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with the sweetest person with a smile on his face. We got past our language barrier super quick by resorting to good old pointing at things. He showed me all the steps, one by one. And man, selections were plenty and fresh.
After I made my choices, it only took 5 minutes for the food to be ready. It was enough for 3 people. But I had to finish it. Too good to go to waste.

Keep it up, guys. You are awesome. And if I ever come back to the area, your establishment would be the first stop.

This is my first time to visit this neat and small restaurant. It sells hot-spicy pot, similar to hot pot, but no flame. We picked our food into a bowl and weighed it. The price is based on weight. The receptionist is very kind. He gave us two cups of milk tea for free, and explained the best choice of spicy class. It is delicious and spicy good, very suitable for a casual lunch in a winter day. I’ll visit it again.

I really like the dry pot here with the spicy mix. Keep in mind that at any restaurant, this dish is cooked with a lot of oil and peppercorn. Peppercorn gives you a little tingly feel in your mouth. If you dont like a lot of oil and numbness in your mouth, don’t try it.

Surprised by the taste! I think it is better than those bigger brands and the best in Irvine-Tustin area. Price is reasonable compared with other places.

We went to the District for a late movie showing. The film ends around 9:30PM. We check around for food. Korean: closed. Japanese: closed. Thai: closed. American: closed.
There’s only one restaurant with the light on. THIS very store.
We went in and time jump ahead for 50 years. You get a bowl, and then get to the open fridge to get any ingredients you like. And by any, I mean anything. Vermicelli, instant noodle, egg noodle…✅️
Tofu, tofu skin, bean curd, mushroom, 7 differeny vegetables… ✅️
Fish ball, meat ball, imitation crab, beef, pork… ✅️
Even the exotic one: quail egg, duck blood, beef intestine, tripe… ✅️
We get a bowl full, and it costs $13/lbs ingredient.
Then we pick a soup base and a cook will make it hot, fast, and delicious for us.
Our meal costs around $18 and it’s plenty for two for a late night meal.
The arbutus juice is a nice extra: natural and not too sweet.
In an area where every store is closed by 9PM, this restaurant stays open until 23:59PM.
Overall 10/10 experience and it’s a must try if you want to live in the future like Bobeo the Hippo
