Great sandwiches! Horrible service. I gave this place 3 chances as their sandwiches have always turned out good. First time in I waited on my order for 1 sandwich for about 40 mins. Second time in I was on my lunch break and placed my order at 1pm and didn’t receive my order till 1:53pm. Third time in we tried to place our order ahead of time online. Placed the order at 11:00AM for pickup at 12:15pm. Got there at 12:15 and didn’t receive our order till 1:10…… this place is not “fast”.

I love the sandwiches at fast eddies so there’s no complaints there. This has more to do with the service. Placed an order at 11:20am and order said it would be ready at 11:49am. I got there and called and was told it would be out shortly. Waited 15-20 minutes and still not ready. I called in to do a check in on the status and was told to wait in a rude tone. The crazy thing is I did wait… an extra 15-20 minutes and I wasn’t trying to be rude but see what was going on. No more than a few seconds later the girl came out and gave me my order with a mean look. All I wanted was my sandwiches 🙁

It’s about time I give Fast Eddie’s its due. Closed for a majority of the Pandemic, it finally reopened and I once again picked up where I left off. This is truly a hidden gem in Chico. Let it be known that every sandwich has increased in price ($1-$2) so it’s no longer a weekly place for me to visit. Today’s sandwich was the #65… The Hungry Viking, consisting of: Pastrami, brisket, hot link, coleslaw, fries, BBQ sauce, mayo, and Muenster cheese. Huge…enough for 2, and an order of onion rings. Piled ridiculously high, it, along with MOST, are gut busters! Prepared and served within 10 minutes, they can crank out your meal for a fast turnaround for even the shortest lunch break. Call ahead if you don’t like lines. I can NOT rate this higher than 5, so that is what they get. Please…don’t believe me, try this establishment, as there are WAY too many great choices to choose from. Burgers, chicken, vegetarian, salads, and sides…Fast Eddie’s has something for anybody.

So this is the best sandwich joint in Chico, possibly in the whole of the North Valley. Every sandwich I’ve had there (third time going in) has been a masterpiece. Service is, at times, chilly. But think of it as a place back East where no one is gonna hold your hand, and it’ll make perfect sense. Let this great man do his work, wait a little bit, and pay the slightly above average price, and you’ll receive a glorious sandwich that the very gods would be happy to eat. You shan’t regret it!

DO NOT EAT HERE! There is nothing fast about Fast Eddies! I went here on my lunch and waited 30 min for a sandwich which cost $16 just for the sandwhich not for the chips or drinks which was another $5. Only to return to my office to eat and it was completely unedible. The sandwhich and paper it was wrapped in was covered in grease! Like a pool of grease. When I called to see if I could be refunded I was told that this is how the sandwhich is because it has fried food and sauce. I ordered a sandwhich with fried green tomatoes and bacon. The tomatoes were thin and burnt and the bacon was either charred or raw on the same piece. I understand it has fried items and sauce but grease should not be dripping and pooling in the paper. I asked for a supervisor and was told I was speaking with her. When I asked for a name I was told they don’t give out names. What kind of service is this? You can’t even know who you are speaking with! I won’t be returning. This place is disgusting and not worth the money or the bad service. There are better places in town.

We were passing through Chico, CA on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park when my wife got a serious sandwich craving. A quick search brought us to Fast Eddie’s, and wow — this place did not disappoint!
From hot to cold sandwiches, their menu is absolutely fire. You can tell they put real care into their food — everything was fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. They even have a solid kids’ menu, which was a nice bonus for our family trip.
To top it off, they’ve got cold beer on tap — perfect for kicking back before hitting the road again. If you’re ever in the area and looking for a legit sandwich spot, do yourself a favor and stop by Fast Eddie’s. You won’t regret it!

Amazing sandwiches!! My only complaint would be that I needed an extra 30 minutes just to read through the elaborate menu. Wow! The food was amazing. They were super busy, but I can see why because the sandwiches are awesome.

I got about 12…if you want this, then go there..but if you want one of them, then go over here…And out of all that, Fast Eddie’s Sandwich Shop popped up 7 times out of 12.. My kinda odds! So, off I went to see Fast Eddie. Well, let me tell you something…it was about the best chicken sandwich on the planet…Chico for sure! ☆☆☆☆☆
