I went a tried Fasano’s Pizza since 1972. Honestly I was very impressed tonight with their pizza. Their tomato sauce is not robust/zesty. Ingredients were great. Only thing is that they have canned mushrooms. I got it with sausage and spinach. They go heavy on the cheese like beggars. I would probably do easy cheese next time for me but some people like heavy cheese. The dough is very interesting you would just have to try it out for yourself. My score is a solid 7.6/10. I definitely will be coming back. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend Fasano’s Pizza to anybody.

This place used to be THE BEST. New owners, same results you would expect. They went cheap and it shows. Pizza is close and still good but not the same. Chicken is dry and half the size it used to be. Cole slaw is terrible now. Not sure if they changed the fries or the oil (or both) but they’re terrible now. We moved away years ago and always looked forward to coming back on visits and having some familiar food that used to be spectacular. Not so much any more. There is no need for me to go back ever again.

too much has changed since the new owners took over. The Italian beef is not the same quality and is also much smaller. The red sauce is not as flavorful. The Sausage and pepperoni used on the pizza’s do not taste the same and the pizza sauce lost its edge, those 3 things combined greatly changed the taste of the pizza’s and the last time I ordered there was almost no toppings at all. Damn shame, this place used to be a staple for the entire area my entire life. I kept chalking it up to the new owners need time to adjust and also to perhaps there just being a bad cook when I ordered but its been low quality since around March and I just cant bring myself to go there anymore.

Edit for the owner response. That may be the case but the flavor’s and toppings have changed for the first time in 40 years. There were occasional instances of a lesser quality pizza from someone having a bad day or a new cook learning the ropes but this has happened for the last 8 months with it getting steadily worse so something is clearly happening. I have also never had a pizza with such a small amount of sausage and pepperoni on it from you before. if its from a lot of new people in the kitchen, then some serious training is required to get back the glory that was Fasano’s from last year, and I PRAY it comes back and I will change my rating to a 5 star which the old way deserved.

Ordered a veggie medium thin crust last night because I’ve ordered from here before and enjoyed it. While I appreciated the loaded toppings, not sure if they just didn’t put enough sauce but the pizza lacked flavor. Ended up adding leftover marinara sauce i had.

Best Food around. Been eating there for about 30 years and rarely disappoints. Baked Mostaccioli is my go to if you don’t want pizza.

Ordered a medium pepperoni, and was a little surprised that it was delivered in a bag instead of a pizza box. The bag was a greasy mess, but was pretty good. They put the pepperoni under the cheese, so if I knew that, I would’ve had them put it on top instead.

The pizza had no flavor whatsoever. Not a hint of seasoning. The cheesy garlic bread was just cheese and stale bread, no garlic. $44 for an XL pizza and cheesy “un-garlic” bread. What a disappointment. Fasano’s used to have the best pizza in the area. Not anymore.

I was told this place is one of the best in the southside what can i say they were right!

Fisanos has the best tavern style thin crust i have ever tasted. I called in for a small pepperoni well done, it did not disappoint 5/5 pizza sauce was nice and semi tangy just perfect, crust was thin with crispy edges, i love the well done cheese with burnt edges beware the pizza is hot if you dont do hot fresh za straight out the oven well done its not for you!
