Farmhaus saved my 50th birthday! I thought I had a reservation for 15 people at a local Italian restaurant next to the Galleria Mall in Roseville. Apparently, they didn’t bother to tell me that they couldn’t accommodate my group and I only found out by calling the day before to ask if I could add two more people. I was stuck with no place to go and nowhere that’s nice enough for a 50th birthday celebration with a private room.

A friend suggested we try Farmhaus, so I called and was immediately met with a cheerful voice and genuinely concerned hostess. She said she’d take care of my group and they’d put us in the back building so we could have a private room. She wasn’t joking! We arrived the next night to find a gorgeous place all to ourselves, a fire in the fireplace, a private bathroom, and a cozy little building. I couldn’t have dreamt of anything better.

My special birthday was saved and I’ll never forget the kindness we received by the staff.

I was ecstatic to discover a place that has fondue – the best birthday surprise! Obviously, that’s what I had! Several others enjoyed the vegetarian ravioli.

Thank you, Farmhaus!!! ❤️

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in Granite Bay (east of Sacramento, CA) for its welcoming farmhouse atmosphere and housemade menu items. The rustic place, and friendly vibe from our Server, Antonio, made this a wonderful experience. We had several “daily bread” choices as specials of the day, and about 10 other items that each sounded delicious. I settled on the pastrami sandwich with its housemade rustic rye bread with grilled red onion and seared lean pastrami. No disappointment with that choice. It’s a nice luncheon place, yet with the nice wine selection to accompany their menu items, dinner would be a pleasure as well.

➕1⭐️ for having dog friendly outdoor shaded patio seating to enjoy a late August Friday lunch with temperatures in the 70’s. Immediate seating for a party of four plus two small dogs. Food and service were good. Their garden proves fresh ingredients.

Lots of delicious farm to table options with a few vegetarian options. We tried the lamb shoulder, grilled prawns, arugula, and endive salads. Our cocktails were exceptional, too, although I don’t remember what we had. One was sour and spicy and yummy.

The food was really good, well prepared, high quality, with great ingredients! Eating in the “back house” was a little cold, the service was slightly slow, and parking is limited. Notice my rating is still 4 stars. My wife and I were there on Valentine’s Day so that all may not be typical.

P.S. Some meals were altered to remove dairy

Dined on the back patio, great atmosphere, casual and inviting. Our group had the garlic prawns and artichoke dip to begin with followed by the pork chop, beef and rock cod. Food was cooked well for all meals, right temperature and consistency. Only recommendation would be on seasoning which was lacking especially on the pork and beef. Overall great experience and will be back

The ambiance on the back patio is really nice. The best thing was the artichoke dip appetizer. I have eaten here multiple times and the food can be hit or miss. On this particular evening, the mushroom pasta was handmade and fresh, but a bit light on the sauce. The endive salad was a complete disappointment: $17 for 6 leaves of endive, with 1/8 of a teaspoon of blue cheese crumbles. More consistency and quality in the future menu offerings would be nice.

I was very excited to try this place after hearing great reviews from family and friends. I came on a Saturday afternoon in January. The weather was nice so we sat outside in their cute courtyard. The food was delicious and I could tell why so many people talk highly about this place. The one reason I didn’t rate this place a full five stars was due to the service. We had placed our food order and nothing came out for about 20-30 minutes. Tables around us that were seated well after we had ordered our food received their food orders way before ours. They were sitting with different waiters/waitresses so I’m guessing this was just due to our particular waitress. She was not attentive.

Farmhaus is a family owned restaurant so it excels in service and quality. The food is always really good and comes out in a decent amount of time. The staff there are very helpful and polite and would do anything to make sure your service there won’t be forgotten. Parking may be a bit crammed in the back so go early to grab a spot before they run out! Also, the patio seating is really nice and relaxing as you hear the water fountain in the background. Great place for a nice and quick brunch.
Food pricing is about $13-$15 a plate.
