I’ve always stopped here for ice cream and lines move quickly and flavors are delicious. I decided to try a meal this time. I went inside to order. They have long, shareable tables. Ordered philly cheese sandwich which was fantastic, with sweet potato fries.
Place seemed a bit dreary/run down inside. Staff very friendly, prices reasonable.

I might be a little biased because I live close by BUT! I would travel across town or from another town to get the Farmers Daughter’s Ice Cream. Service is always with a Smile and it’s never a long wait even when they’re busy!I love soft ice cream and they by far have some of the thickest/most dense soft ice cream you can find in Saratoga Springs. They also have a full menu with many great options such as burgers, hot dogs, salads, there’s something for everyone here!! Not to mention in the summer time they have ample outside seating where you can sit and take in the beautiful country side, a small area for kids to play while grownups eat. Also, a cozy interior dining area with booths and tables. They kind of give off small town drive in vibes, great maybe for an after sporting event or first highschool date night eats. Overall I recommend this place to not only to locals but to those passing through on scenic 29. if you’re haven’t been you absolutely MUST VISIT!! theyre open from st. patricks day in March all the way through Halloween in October!!

Farmer’s Daughters’ is really an amazing experience. Not to be missed.
We stumbled onto this epic old school ice cream stand while on an ice cream journey from Coney Island to the Canadian border.
It was our first stop north of Kingston and of close to a dozen ice cream stands we visited, Farmer’s Daughters’ tied for first place for best ice cream and atmosphere.
The burgers and fries, home made, amazing. But the ice cream, creamy, fresh, dense and delicious. Mine was topped with toasted nuts that were probably the best nut topping I’ve ever tasted in my 63 years of ice cream eating!
This is a stop not to be missed or a trip well worth taking!!! Hats off and spoons out for Farmer’s Daughters’!!

Heard from friends that this was a good place to come to for ice cream and food. We drove up and were able to go right inside and order our food. Fast friendly service. Ordered the double cheesburger and hand cut fries. Cheesburger was cooked exactly the way it was asked for. Hand cut fries were very good. Ordered a large Hot fudge sundae, was good. Our friends ordered food and got the hotdog with meat sauce, hamburger and a chicken sandwich. Everything was cooked the way they asked for. Prices are very good.

I only go here for ice cream as I have since I was a little kid.
As a kid I wasn’t gluten free though, so as an adult to be able to get gluten and dairy free options of ice cream was awesome…and it actually tastes GOOD!!

I had come here when I was a young kid. Now I’m in my 60s. It has changed since my younger days. Prices aren’t bad. Ice cream is good. The Creamsicle flavor burst tasted just like it should. Definitely recommend going there. We will go back for food soon and I will update..
