Farmer Boys is famous for farm-to-table burgers, breakfast, salads, and more. Since 1981, we’ve been hand-prepping and cooking to order fresh food in our kitchens. Farmer Boys purchases the freshest ingredients locally, whenever possible. It is embodied in our mascot and head of security, The Scarecrow, whose mission is to protect and serve farm fresh food. Each and every team member across our expansive family of restaurants believes that the freshness and quality of the ingredients our guests are served is at the core of our success. This attention to excellence extends to our friendly table and to-go service, and our fast and easy drive-thru.
Counter-serve chain for made-to-order burgers & breakfast items, many made with local ingredients.

I will give them a solid 8.
Unfortunately, some hours later, it all came back to haunt. With haunting “butt-burps,” that produced a bit more than sound, my stomach wouldn’t stop churning. My canine also had a musical tummy that exploded (thanks goodness, across the grass).
If not for this aftermath, that isn’t quite through its cycle yet, a gold star would shine. But, we tried something new, and it didn’t sit well for us—at least not as long as sitting in the restroom. It certainly was delicious going in though!
Well, the first thing I noticed was a medium to large cockroach running around the floor. I stomped on it as quickly as I could, and then told a staff member.
After thinking about that experience, I decided to eat something that was cooked, and went for the breakfast burrito. They wouldn’t allow me to trade the red meat choices for either turkey or chicken without charging me extra. So I just ordered it without meat.
Taste wise, the burrito was fine. The hash potatoes were a bit mushy. But overall, it was fine.
Was disappointed that they wouldn’t freely substitute all the red meat options for poultry. Was also disappointed that they ask for $5.37 to change your order to a “combo”. That’s an inflation wake-up call!
I had so much better experiences with Farmer Boy’s before. If it wasn’t for the bug encounter, I’d give them 4 stars. Perhaps knocking off just one star is too generous?
Not sure I’m going back anytime soon.
