Food was overall good. The burgers were crispy, buns were toasted, all the veggies on it tasted fresh and crunchy. The Brussels sprouts were such a delicious surprise, I’d definitely recommend trying that along with the Farmboy burger.

With all that said, it was a REALLY long wait for our food. It was around 40 minutes before we got our food but luckily there was football being aired. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt because it seemed like there was only one really young man working and he was very sweet.

We typically come here for a quick burger with a beer this one time we had a $50+ nightmare for 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries, that never made it to us.

The food took over 1 hour, as they had lot our order, we had our baby with us, and the justification was “we are not used to having so many orders at once”

5 tables that order after us – got their food before us.

We decided to wait to get the food, big mistake.

Our burgers were burnt, we missed an order of fries, and the one order of fries we got was a mixed of whatever they had laying in there.

I would appreciate that a small business owner takes his business seriously, at least in front of customers, be polite, understanding, and present.

If you want to have a good experience, bring your own food

I rather wait and get food that is not burnt, but if you start losing orders, burning food, and not caring about your customers that’s a BIG RED flag for me.

Once I saw the string lights and metal barstools… immediately knew it would be an overly priced meal. Summer menu’s in effect, and prices are definitely up — over $20 for a 4oz burger and fries. It’s inside a brewery, so more of a hangout spot than a food-first place. Ended up waiting 20-25 minutes for my order. My buzzer didn’t go off so order was just sitting there. Not a deal breaker. Also put in my number to get a text receipt, but never got it. Slightly annoying. Got two burgers (the OK, OKAY and the Farmboy) and aptly named… Burgers are OK. Jojos were soft and good, overly salty though.

The service at this place is awful. The food took over an hour and when people who had ordered after us received food before us I went back up to ask how much longer. The cook took our food off the grill and said “this is your order do you want it or want a refund?” When the order was finally ready it was handed to me without any comment or apology. The fries were so over salted they were not edible. I think some kindness from employees or a comped basket of fries while we waited could have made all the difference. The brewery is great but order pizza instead of dealing with this place.

Overall I’m impressed with the food.

Pros:
-Every food item we got was great.
-The Thicky burger really was thick and very filling. It was priced at $16, which feels steep for a burger with no sides, but after eating it I’m not mad at that price. Meat patty was SO well seasoned. Probably the most seasoned meat patty I’ve ever had. Honestly I’m not 100% sure what else was in that burger but it was tasty and unique. Don’t think I’ve had a similar burger elsewhere. The “thickles” (pickles) were sweeter than normal but I actually sort of liked that.
-Brussel sprouts are good, flavorful, and was a nice portion size.
-Jojos were super fluffy and soft on the outside with a crispy exterior.
-None of the food was overly oily, which surprised me a little. I expected the find a puddle of oil under the sprouts or for the jojos to seep oil in my to-go container but that wasn’t the case at all
-Service was nice.

Cons:
-Only concern about this place is cleanliness/food safety. I’m not saying it’s dirty, but it wasn’t exactly clean either. I did see grease stains on the window peering into the kitchen, smudges on the fridge, chicken thigh sitting out (possibly about to be used?), cheese wheel out, number buzzer for our order was greasy, etc. Napkins on the outside were stained with oil. It would be great if they really deep cleaned this place.
-30-40 minute wait. I think the food worth it for the wait at least once but that is a LONG time so don’t come here too hungry or with no friends/entertainment

Neutral/Notes:
-This place is located inside Future Primitive Brewery.

We waited an hour to get 3 burgers and 2 french fries. It was good burgers but definitely not worth the wait at all. When we got the burgers they were cold. Seemed like they sat out for awhile if they were that cold. They did not even apologize for the hour wait. Just don’t go here if you can’t wait an hour for a burger.

The longest I have ever had to wait for two burgers and fries at 4:45p on a Friday. It took an hour for a to-go order. The food was good but do NOT plan on this being a quick trip in.

The stand opened hours late. It was scheduled to open at 2:00 PM, a sign on the door said 4:00 PM, and it didn’t actually open until 5:20 PM.

We were the second order placed, and the stand was not unusually busy, yet it still took over an hour to receive our food while several customers who ordered after us were served first.

The cooking area was visibly dirty. The cook repeatedly handled burgers with bare hands while touching other items in between, then went back to the food without changing gloves or washing his hands. The cashier, however, was wearing gloves.

When we finally got our food, the burgers were overcooked and sloppily put together.

Farmboy Bites was a great find! We love smash burgers and their’s are delicious! The staff was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly.

JoJos: we got the JoJos and they were good! They had a great seasoning and the potatoes ranged in size making it fun to reach into the back and see what you got.

Farmboy: with two 2oz smashed patties, their special sauce, thickles, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sweet onion, this was my favorite burger! The thickles we pickled in an interesting brine which was not my favorite, but worth a try.

Chzbrgr: one 4oz smashed pattie, smoky ketchup, thickles, cheese, and sweet onion. This was a good burger! I didn’t care for the smoky ketchup, but luckily I had some special sauce to dip it in!

Got a Chopped Cheese and it ripped. Very tasty. They were out of jojos which was a pretty big let down. It also took like 30 minutes to get a burger which was a bit much for me. I think as this place has more time to work on processes it’ll be incredible. Will be back.
