Sooooo good! My most favorite sandwich in the midwest by far (I ordered the roasted vegetable sandwich and my son ordered the BLT). The salad was also tasty. I had thought to take one half of my sandwich home with me but nope…it was too yummy to save for later…. perfectly toasted… etc. I don’t live here but I will be coming back!!

I ordered the fish and chips dinner to go. I also ordered a side of kegs. The fish is light and crispy and the fries are full of flavor. The tator kegs are one of my favorite items to order! I highly recommend them if you haven’t tried them yet! My fish dinner also came with a side salad and I always get mine with their homemade ranch’ I can’t say enough good things!

What’s not to like? The food is fresh and amazing! The atmosphere is welcoming yet sophisticated, with a warm small town feel. The service is warm, friendly, efficient. Candles are hilarious!

laid-back aesthetic very clean restaurant! I picked out a couple of salads. Absolutely phenomenal! The blackened salmon salad with bacon was so fresh. The meat was so tender and well seasoned. I can’t wait to go back Saturday for the spinach artichoke Panin!

First timer here. We’re from Omaha and come to Yankton a few weeks out of the year. FHFC is absolutely fantastic. Simple menu, but strangely enough, quite a variety to choose from. Coffee was perfect. We ordered the biscuits and gravy (added country fried chicken), which came with a super fresh greens salad, fresh tomatoes , and a sort of homemade raspberry dressing. AND we got the waffle flight (one strawberry puree with whipped cream, one blueberry with vanilla ice cream, and one peanut butter, chocolate and banana). Omg. There’s these sweet little crispy crunchies in the waffle. So damn good and waffles aren’t my favorite thing. I’m a food snob for sure and I cannot wait to go back. I personally thanked the staff for such a wonderful experience from beginning to end on my way out. It was that good. Thanks again FHFC!
