Amazing experience as always. I’ve been coming here for four years. Tonight, they were kind enough to let us eat because we had plans right after and would’ve had to eat in our car. I’ve never had the chance to dine in, but tonight I was able to check that off the list. 🙂

Much like the other reviews, Far East used to be our go to spot for over the past ten years. I’m not sure what happened but the quality and service has gone down hill. I called to place an order and even my family who were with me when I placed the call could hear the staff on the other end was abrupt and rude. But what was worse was the quality of our food was honestly not even edible. The chicken fried rice had barely any chicken, but it did have sharp pieces of bones in it ♀️ My sibling literally held up one of the bones and said it was bigger then the one shred of chicken he could find in the rice. The rice tasted off and didn’t have much flavor. It was basically rice and onions otherwise. The rest of our order was just flavorless. It’s disappointing since I was visiting and when I mentioned getting it for our family dinner we all got quite excited so this was a big let down. Won’t be coming back sadly.

I was a little skeptical of coming back here since I haven’t eaten here in about 4-5 years, added with the fact that they didn’t have dine in as an option made me worry there were a lot of changes.
To start off we had a lovely interaction with the staff while picking up the food.
The overall flavour of the food brought me right back to when I used to have food from here all the time as a kid.
We had the orange chicken and the beef fried rice.
the orange chicken was tender, flavourful, had a nice crisp to it, the sauce reminds me of how they used to make it.
The beef fried rice also pleasantly surprised, it was very flavourful.
Portions were generous, price was great,
Would highly recommend to give them a try.

I’m so very sad with the order we got …$51 later (same order we have always get). The sweet and sour chicken was dry. The boxes were different and yes the portions were smaller.. my daughter asked for extra plum sauce, and the woman behind the counter was super annoyed to be asked such a thing ( ??) I used to brag to people on how great this Resturant was! We have been going here for over 20 years ( yes!!! They used to have a huge dinning area!) then Covid hit, and the Resturant part never opened up again? ( think they run a day care in that part now! ) then we just found out NO MORE DELIVERY!
well folks …. the writing is on the wall. I’m going to start looking for another Chinese Resturant. Its a shame because this honestly was one of the finest Chinese Resturant’s around .. we have seen it go down hill in the past year.. ( I was in denial) but this news,was the last straw. I’m sure this is one of those second generation things … the kids just don’t care and the original folks are getting up there . Just very sad to see it go downhill.

It’s only a take out place now. No dine in! Portion size is average. Taste was good. Forgot to picture orange chicken but it was good.

Tonight was the first and last time we will be eating from this restaurant. The chicken wings tasted awful with no seasoning. The beef broccoli was tasteless and horrible. The chicken fried rice was very hard and tasted like garbage.. I just tossed out $45.10. Not buying again from her. The cashier was very rude!

My daughter wanted me to try Far East Chinese Restaurant for a change from my usual Chinese Restaurant for takeout (Magnolia). I opted for chicken fried rice, a staple at most Chinese restaurants to keep it simple.
At first glance I noted there were only onions and chicken in the rice no carrots or peas. Different. I gave it a taste and I can say with all honesty it was the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. The rice tasted stale and over cooked. The consistency made the rice packable like a snowball. The finishing touch was the rancid after taste. After two spoonfuls I was done.
My daughter swears by Far East’s food and called them back to share her disappointment and ask for a refund. She was told that she would not get a refund, only another order of the fried rice we had just complained about. Good customer service could have perhaps involved a credit to try something else in the future. I would have given them another chance.
Based on this experience I do not recommend Far East for their food or customer service.
