Yesterday we ordered 4 items for take out from Fang’s Kitchen. Egg drop soup and shrimp with broccoli were okay. The shrimp rolls were doughy with little or no shrimp. Kung Pao Chicken turned out to be totally disappointing!! There were very little peanuts and the spices that were used didn’t taste good. I have tried Kung Pao Chicken several times before. This one turned out to be the worst.

This was the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted! I got general tso’s chicken, and the chicken was tender. I also loved that the fried rice was tasty without being oily.

1st let me start by saying Wang’s who No baby it’s FANGS kitchen for Me ! Now that I have gotten the semantics out of the way I genuinely wanna say that Fangs kitchen is TOP Teir ! Its nestled right in the corner of beautiful city of Morisville ! Right in between a lowes food and a hibachi grill ( shout out to hibachi) but FANG’S is Amazing! Let’s be honest we have all had Chinese food that seemed to be overly drenched in MSG and the rice seemed to be more than a day old ! NOT Fang’s the rice had had a nice fluffy aromatic texture to it while the vegetables where crispy and cooked to perfection ! The cute little restaurant had tables you can sit at and enjoy your meal and the atmosphere smelled of beautiful sultry aromas that tickled your nose ever so gently! The bathroom very clean and had a light hint of floral fragrances and clorox ! The staff was very nice and polite and seemed to care about what they do ! The plate was filled to perfection with whole chicken wings that were fried to the GODS and they taste was even more Amazing! if you want the best tasting Chinese food you have ever had in your life head down to FANG’S Kitchen where you can taste and feel the love in every last bite!

We had General Tso’s Chicken and Lo Me in. Both were perfect! The G Tso chicken seems like it was cut fresh from a meaty chicken breast rather than more nugget style at so many competitor restaurants. And the breading on it was just right. Flavor? Really, really delicious! The lo mein was also top notch. I’ll go there again! (and again, and again…)

I’ve been coming to this place now and then since they opened this restaurant because it’s close to my house. This is not the one of best szechuan restaurants although I have not found one in NC yet like ones in CA or NY. However, better than or similar to szechuan garden or chengdu 7 in my opinion.
I only had limited number of dishes so far, but here are what I recommend and not recommend:
Not recommend
– General Tso’s chicken, it is not typical general tso dish. They use ketchup or tomato based sauce and not spicy at all. Also wish they cut the meat into smaller pieces.
– Kungpao chicken, same reason above
– Beef string bean with garlic sauce, expected clean garlic based sauce, but it had the same flavor of General Tso. Disappointed.
– Lo Mein or Chow Fun, any noodle based dish, they way overcook noodles, so noodles become too mushy and stuck together (see photo)
– Any fried rice, just not good.
– Mushu (Pork) – Super sweet and very little meat, mostly cabbage, wish they use shredded fresh cooked pork, not precooked dry bbq pork (see photo)
Recommend
– Chongqing diced chicken, not the best I’ve had but pretty good, it is fried (see photo)
– Salt and pepper spare rib, good but it is also fried (see photo)
I will update my review if I try new dishes.

I’m sorry but this was not good at all. I’m from
NYC and I know what good Chinese food is. Sorry I have eaten Chinese food all my life.
I had Egg Foo Young and I thought fried rice.
It was white rice with peas and carrots, not the original fried rice I’m use to. The food had no season to it.
The egg foo young looked good but not seasoned at all.

Overall Rating: 3.9/10
The takeout experience was subpar, with the food not meeting expectations. No dish stood out positively.
Atmosphere / Service: 3.9/10
The online ordering process was cumbersome compared to other restaurants. The lack of Apple Pay and the requirement to create a profile added unnecessary steps.
Food:
Pineapple Fried Rice: 3.8/10
While not awful in taste, the dish was a disappointment due to missing ingredients that are typically expected in Thai pineapple fried rice.
Pork Fried Rice: 3.9/10
The presentation of the pork fried rice was off-putting, and the flavor was mediocre. It fell short of the standard for this dish.
Beef Lo Mein: 2.3/10
The beef lo mein looked in inviting, the and completely failed to deliver in taste.
General Gau Chicken: 5.1/10
The dish featured white meat chicken in a satisfactory tangy sauce but was otherwise very basic.

Ordered Fang’s for my family. We were not disappointed as the portions were big and prices were fairly priced! Would recommend their new dishes: Honey Shrimp (1), Bang Bang Shrimp (2), Mongolian Chicken (3), and Bang Bang Shrimp (4). My favorite was the Bang Bang Shrimp as it was very tasty and creamy. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered lunch special menu items through the GrubHub app. The price at the app is more expensive than if you buy directly – but that’s actually normal for most other restaurants. Ordered the boneless spare ribs, pepper steak, and chicken/beef delight. All came with veggie yellow fried rice. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the boneless spare ribs the most. Price was decent for lunch specials.
