One of the best brunch spots in Wilmington. Food was prepared well, staff were attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. There really isn’t any complaints, the food was fresh, well cooked, and came within a timely manner. I recommend asking for a seat upstairs if you prefer an open space. Although both downstairs and upstairs maintained clean and comfortable seating areas. We had a wonderful experience, and look forward to returning.

Famous Toastery is one of those places that just does breakfast and brunch right. I wish I would have gotten more photos because the presentation was on point- we love this place and come here often. The food is always fresh, portions are generous, and everything comes out tasting homemade, not rushed. The menu has a lot of options, whether you’re in the mood for something savory or lunch style or even seasonal and creative.
Service has always been extremely friendly and attentive, even when it’s busy, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It’s a solid go-to spot that’s consistently good, which is honestly hard to find these days.

I was excited to try this place for breakfast. From the other reviews, menu, and photos it looked like a guaranteed home run.
Upon arriving, it was a nice scene to approach. A very comfortable and inviting appeal inside. I was quickly greeted and asked if I wanted to dine inside or outside(nice to know you have an option to dine outside).
I was offered fresh orange juice, which I said yes! And asked to mix with some pineapple juice.
For me the apple pie cinnamon roll had been on my mind from the previous evening. I ordered one of those and a breakfast bowl of egg, sweet potato, chorizo, and Pico de galo. Every single item was delicious. It came out so neat, colorful, and packed with flavor.
One caution is to get there early if you want an apple pie cinnamon roll, they sell quickly.

This breakfast/ brunch place is awesome. Very unique restaurant with outdoor seating, and two stories indoors. When we went today it was packed. Even with a full restaurant we were served very fast with piping hot food which was delicious. Service was awesome, they even fresh squeeze their orange juice which was pretty cool. Fast food with good prices, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Be aware parking can be tight, but there is a good amount of it, but this place is always packed. You can park along the fence if you need to by the road. Overall great experience we paid around $50 + tip for two people.

Service with a smile, great atmosphere and large tasty menu.
We were seated upstairs by a window with nice views of the large trees that surround the building.
Staff was great!

Visited from Utah. Oir waitress was so friendly and helpful with the menu. She suggested sampling different dishes by selecting sides. It was perfect! I had stuffed French toast, avacado toast, and grits. Everything was delicious. I wish you had a location in Utah. Bonus tip from our waitress: add bacon to the avacado toast. Yum!

We had a fantastic Saturday breakfast here! This place offers an elevated diner breakfast experience; the food is wonderfully fresh, never oily or greasy. The stuffed French toast with cream cheese and strawberries was a standout – perfectly balanced and not at all heavy. We were so happy with everything and have definitely added this gem to our go-to breakfast list in Wilmington!

Absolutely amazing! Our server was the best. He had a great attitude and was attentive but not overbearing. They allow dogs on the patio and he greeted everyone, dogs and people alike. He brought out treat bowls especially for the dogs and even brought me a small decanter of caramel syrup for my bottomless coffee. He did an amazing job! And the food was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend the corned beef hash.

Super cute interior, very southern. It was busy on a Sunday morning, had to wait about 30 min for 6 people. We were led upstairs, our waiter Josh was wonderful. The food was 10/10, the sausage gravy is a must! The Toastery bowl with the smoked sausage was delicious! The Bloody Mary was also yummy, beware the spicy is spicy!
