I order the Oxtail meal like I do a lot here usually it is on point. I decide to go yesterday with my family I order my food to go got back home to eat my oxtail had no sauce and on top of that my peppers had a sticker on it. Almost like it wasn’t even washed just cut and cooked I couldn’t even eat it after that it was a mental thing but my waitress was great music was great vibe but the food yesterday was not up to standards and suya was extremely dry

Sunday’s brunch at Famous Lounge was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the customer service was exceptional and DJBuck50 kept us thoroughly entertained. The entire staff, including the servers, was truly amazing. I must give a special shout-out to Vanessa, who provided us with outstanding service. Despite the venue being packed to capacity, she took the time to explain the situation and we greatly appreciated her attentiveness. Being able to enjoy our brunch at the bar area added an extra touch of elegance. Without a doubt, I will be celebrating my birthday brunch at Famous Lounge.

Went on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. People who were leaving smelled of Marijuana. Security who checked my purse was extremely musty and had the nerve to ask for a piece of my gum. I wish I had a stick of deodorant to offer him. Once we were inside we seated ourselves at the bar and were handed menus. The place was practically empty, 5 people inside. Initially I thought there were more because the waitress were also seated at the bar. There were no drinks listed on the menu. We asked if they had wine. The waitress showed us one bottle of red wine. This is a bar and they don’t have a wine selection. This is not an upscale establishment at all. The DJ played ratchet rap music. There were 5 other people inside, not including the waitresses. The waitresses were dancing not the customers. Two waitresses were vaping and one was eating fruit behind the bar. The lemon pepper wings and fries we ordered were nasty. The fries tasted like public school cafeteria fries. Nice location but ghetto atmosphere. It was giving suburban hood. We did not enjoy this ghetto experience.

The food was delicious and worth the wait. I ordered the grilled salmon with spinach and jallof rice. Very tasty! The sides were a good portion – spinach and onion rings. The DJ provided a good music selection. The environment was friendly. Our server was great!

We went to this lounge for a scheduled brunch at 11am with a group of about 10-15 people. We all showed up on time; unfortunately the lounge was not ready. They were still setting up. I decided to go in around 11:30 am, 30 minutes after and they were still setting up. The manager stated they needed a few more minutes. I went back to the car to let everyone know we can go in in about 15 minutes. We all go in around noon. They have a unarmed security guy and he looks in the purses. At noon, they still were not ready; all the food was not out, and the drinks were not made.

We made reservations for 11 am. We arrived to be greeted with oh you guys are on time people. The buffet was not ready as we sat for almost 30 min. The waitress was nice but told us the food was not ready and would be another 15 min. As we sat there we was given drinks but then we was told by another waitress that we would have to move because the owners wife sits were we were sitting. At this point we just decided to leave. To tell paying customers to get up was just absolutely ridiculous and rude. If the owners wife sits there that’s fine, it should be roped off or reserved so customers don’t sit there. I was very disappointed because we heard good things about this place but after Sunday we definitely won’t be returning. I m sure others have had good experiences but sadly ours wasn’t.

Food was pretty good. Definitely try the greens; so, so good. DJ was great. Don’t recommend the unlimited mimosas. A few of the options tasted like thick fruit juice and seltzer water. Food ran out often and service was terrible. I was told by multiple people that the service was bad prior to going, unfortunately they were right. My table had to call the waitress off the dance floor to get the bill. Overall, the experience was cool for my first time going, but I won’t go back.

Stopped by for Karaoke on a Monday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Nice lil crowd, laid back, decent food and drinks, but service was pretty slow – only 1 server. She was nice but seemed overwhelmed at times. I had a good time so I’ll be back.
