I don’t know why I haven’t raved about this place sooner. This is definitely my favorite go to spot for ribs. The establishment is clean & well maintained….. I always look for that. The weekly specials never disappoints me and I can’t say enough about the food portions. My go to meal is the $10 Rib dinner with 2 sides…. trust me when I say it’s so well with it. The staff is friendly and personable.

My 1st time in today. Ordered the rib dinner with green beans and baked beans on the side.
The ribs were delicious. Smokey with the right amount of tug off the bone. I was worried about the sauce at first view because it had a mustard look, but it was very tasty indeed and I enjoyed it.
Both beans were very good and clearly homemade. I liked my meal so much that when finished I ordered a pulled pork dinner with the same sides to go for my dinner latter on.
I will definitely be back to try some offerings on the menu.

I got my mom a rib sandwich and a dozen crabs for myself. This is my second time ordering crabs with them and let me just say they have the best crabs. They are so meaty not one crab was hollow. The customer service is great. Loved the atmosphere. I don’t eat meat anymore but the rib sandwich looked amazing my mom loved it.

Wish you guys were open 24/7. First time ordering from this place and they forgot my order but when my order did come it was terrific. Ribs was sauced with the right amount of sauce. Mac n cheese taste like my moms; cheesy. And the green beans was my favorite. Thanks Famous Jays.

Tough dry microwaved meat x baked beans inedible due to high cinnamon content x the. Mac n cheese is just that they dont blend together..the pies are cinnamon dusted..what’s jay famous for?

I ate there for the first time last week. First impression was that the customer service was excellent. The owner Jay welcomed me in like I was family. I got the rib dinner with mac n cheese and greens, everything was delicious! The prices are good, the food is great, and the people are friendly. 5 stars for famous jays.

My husband and I tried Famous Jay’s for the first time this past weekend. We both ordered the rib dinner with a couple of different sides. We were really impressed, as a matter of fact my husband said this was the best ribs he has had in a long time. They were very, very tender and the sauce was muy delicious. We also ordered Mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad and everything was seasoned very well. The portions were more than generous. We loved the atmosphere at the restaurant and the customer service was excellent! Famous Jays was definitely worth the drive. This will be one of our go to restaurants in the future!

Exactly what we were looking for! We’re from Miami and can’t find one place with amazing BBQ. This place was right by our hotel so we checked it out. Nothing fancy, just delicious food! Generous portions for an incredibly low price. Very nice people who work there, even one of the guys in the kitchen came out and asked how everything was. I recommend this place to anyone wanting great BBQ! We had the ribs and pulled pork w side of mac n cheese(AMAZING), green beans, baked beans, and collard greens.
