My husband and I went to this place today because for Christmas we received a gift card.
This place wasn’t busy when we arrived at 1130am. We figured that would be a great time to eat since most people would be at work and we might get better service.
I’m not sure if we walked into the wrong door or what the deal was but the girl who greeted us was cool except that instead of seating us she simply told us where to walk to get to the front to be seated. Again….they weren’t busy. After a few seconds of trying to figure things out a guy Finally greeted us and walked us to a table. He got us a couple of drinks and let us know that our server would be with us soon. We ordered a fried onion and my husband ordered a burger and I ordered the bbq pork tacos.
My tacos were ok…they really didn’t have much flavor so I ended up adding some bbq sauce to try and make them taste better. I would have asked our waitress for some suggestions but she would ask us how we were doing as she wizzed passed our table a few times. We did get a couple of refills on the sodas which was nice.
There were at least 4 other servers walking around and didn’t seem to be busy or really doing anything but talking to each other.
After we had already sat down another table was sat behind us and even though it isn’t the restaurants fault the kid behind us was coughing all over the place and sounded pretty sick. (Gross).
There was a very loud sound coming out of the wall which we thought might be the pipes?
All in all the food was ok at best for our visit. Things weren’t entirely unpleasant but there could be some improvements.

Food is okay. Been a while since I was here and I ordered online but this is disappointing. I used the corn bread cup for bbq sauce. Honestly for the amount you pay it’s not worth it.
Also they shouldn’t send food in

We got the Feast for 2 and it was amazing – cornbread and ribs were the highlights of the meal! Generously fed three of us. Nancy was a great waitress and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meals

I will give it 4 stars, just because I prefer the smaller mom and pop bbq joints, Famous Dave is good food, its clean, the staff is friendly fast, attentive. For a chain bbq restaurant it’s one of the better ones I believe. Good variety. Cold beer.

Woe how these vary by location. Worst service I’ve had in a long long time only thing that saved it for the 1 star was the food. I’d never go back to this location. The bar was a ghost town and I now know why

We were immediately greeted by our hostess, Brittanie, who pointed out the differences in chicken and sauces. She made our experience extremely comfortable. The food was served quickly and hot. We had the brisket and bbq chicken. I highly recommend Famous Daves!
