Took carry out for Dave’s ribs in Troy, MI .They were like eating slinters of meat as they were either over cooked or old. The meat was not chewable and I literally spit it back out. The beans tasted like they poured a bunch of BBQ sauce in them. Not good at all. I’m very disappointed as I treked a long way to the location under the assumption that it was like the original locations. The website is also misleading. It needs to state who they are so people aren’t surprised. Service good. Food not!

Visited Troy Michigan location for Dave’s carry out. The ribs were hard to chew and even though I asked if the food was the same as famous locations, and they assured me it was, it was not. No tender meat at all. You guys need to hire a famous Dave chef if you want to become popular at these carry out locations.

First of all we went way out of Detroit hoping to find some better bbq. We came from a state that has famous Dave’s and I was pleased to see it was an option here. I’ll show you my food and you decide. Needless to say it was a COMPLETE WASTE of my money and uber eats would NOT give it back!

Famous Dave’s Troy did not live up to Novi. There wasn’t a full menu of sides, nor was the taste of the ribs even comparable. I ordered a 4 rib dinner and in reality it was only 3 ribs with one bone attached to a rib to make it 4. Lesson learned. I will only go to Novi in the future.

wow absolute worst bbq ive ever had in my life and i lived in iowa for 5 years. brisket was horrible, greasy, and fatty. mashed potatoes had no seasoning at all. glad i didnt pay for it lmao. also the veggie burger is way too thick, the impossible meat patty is like a flavorless crumbly mush. horrific.

This was THEE MOST DISGUSTING meal I have ever purchased! If I could give it negative stars I would. I repeatedly asked if the BBQ was prepared the same way as a regular Famous Dave’s and was reassured every time that it was only to find grayish meat and old brown Mac and cheese. It wasn’t edible at all. The manager even stated before we left “The food looks really good, you guys enjoy” which had me feeling like it was deliberate. And we waited over 45 minutes to get it??!! Granite City misrepresented Famous Dave’s on so many levels. My advice…Just go to a regular FD establishment. I learned my lesson…smh

I ordered online and showed up 10 minutes later. My food is cold and the brisket is very fatty this is not what you expect from a $30 meal they should be ashamed of themselves. First and last time coming. They also forgot a side. Probably wouldn’t have given a 1 star if it were hot its not even luke warm. Its cold. I am beyond mad. You can tell they must obviously reheat food but forgot mine.
Update after reheating in the microwave for 2 minutes the ribs were ok. Brisket was clearly old. If you cook as much as I do trust me you know. This brisket is at least 3 days old. Its dry lost its color looks grey and has a smell to it. Threw it out.

Got a platter for a work party and it was not good ….not seasoned and dry …only thing good was the muffins …should not be called famous Daves….. more like knockoff daves …would not recommend at all
