Had dinner at Famous Dave’s after a long day at work and honestly it hit the spot. The food was delicious—exactly what I needed. But what really made the experience was my server, Brittany. She was super nice, made me feel right at home, and went above and beyond the whole time. It’s rare to get that kind of service these days. I’ll definitely be coming back soon, and Brittany deserves all the shoutouts for making it such a great visit

The warm chili bowl I had here was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. One of the best menu items I’ve tried at Famous Dave’s!

We were greeted by a kind gentleman and seared quickly. The food was also timely to receive. The meat was flavored with yummy spices and you did not need to drown in bbq sauce. I can’t give a review on the sauces because I didn’t use any. It was at the right nose level we were able to have conversations. It was actually rather quiet in the restaurant itself.
We had the Family and Friends feast. For 3 of us it was a lot of food and 2 of us were able to take food home. I also had the fish and chips and the cod was flavorful and light. A delight.

The flavor was very good and the service was very good and professional. However the serving size for the price was a very unbalanced. I understand that eating out cost’s more then cooking at home. But the amount of food was very underwhelming. The meat was tender, the BBQ sauce selection was solid and I enjoyed the flavors. Our waitress was an absolute Angel and who ever cooked knew what they were doing. However the price for amount of food isn’t Worth it.

Honestly, last nights experience was horrible.

The service took foreverrrrrr. Then, when the food did arrive, they put the appetizer and the meal down at the exact same time. The brisket needed to be cut with a knife(did not fall apart even slightly), the tri tip was dry and had zero flavor, and the rib ends … they had to be ripped from the bone. Our entire meal had to be coated in bbq sauce. It was really bad bbq.

Took us 15 minutes just to get the bill.
The radio was turned all the way down so you could hear everyone’s conversations. It was just a weird vibe in there.

I do not recommend this location. At all.

Well, I finally had time and was in the vicinity. I wanted to try as during my food delivery days it smelled delicious. I kept my order to something simple, Brisket nachos. The presentation was stellar as you will see by the photos. The jalapeños were old and dry. The brisket was chopped to bite sized portions masked by the toppings. As I sit here people seem to continue arriving for lunch. The “on site”brew of tea (Sweet Tea) tasted essentially like water. Yes , I ate everything as I am hungry and did not want to waste money or food as I KNOW the Bay Area serves people in need food in the tons monthly. The waitress is serving others and explaining my honest opinion to other patrons. I still provided her a tip of $4 as my complete order was a little over $24. In addition she offered some first time bag with coupons for next time which I declined. Sure people like maybe even love it. No Thank you. I can purchase my own Brisket and do myself at home. ‍♀️

Had the sampler which was flavorful and filling. Enough for 2 people. BBQ sauce is great.

Been wanting to try out the Famous Dave’s since moving to Hayward 5 years ago. It was relatively empty when we came in around 230p on saturday. We were quickly seated and received our ordered drinks just as fast. We ordered Tri-tip, short tip ribs (?), and St Louis ribs. For sides we had cole slaw, mashed potatos, sweet corn.

The tri tip ended up being alot more tougher than anticipated but we enjoyed both ribs. The cole slaw and the corn bread that came with the meal were delicious. We would def come back in the future to try their other offerings.

Shout out to our server Brittany, she was very attentive and friendly, she explained that the tri tip tends to be well done due to how it’s smoked, recommended the brisket next if looking for more succulent and soft. She definitely made our experience more enjoyable

Ordered a salad and made sure to tell the server that I didn’t like carrots. The salad was full of them. Lettuce look old and brown. Server was friendly, but the establishment looked neglected. Saddest bar I’ve ever seen in a Famous Dave’s. Don’t eat here unless you must (and don’t get the salad).

Had a great time! The food was tasty but the star of the show was our server Brittany. She was incredibly attentive despite covering so many tables. We’ll be coming back to see her!
