All the staff that I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice and service was great. The food was very good. We each got a 2 meat combo, 1 has fried chicken and brisket with potato salad and broccoli & the other is brisket and boneless wings with potato salad and red skinned mashed potatoes. Each plate came with a cornbread muffin which was delicious. All the food was delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I had an amazing experience at Famous Dave’s! I started with the chicken wings, and I have to say—they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. For my main course, I went with the rib tip dinner, which came with corn on the cob, a corn muffin, and mac and cheese. Every item was spot on: the cornbread was sweet and moist, the mac and cheese had a mild heat that was just right, and the buttered corn was fresh and delicious.
The rib tips themselves were the highlight—tender, well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor. No BBQ sauce needed; the dry rub alone was enough to make them outstanding. To top it all off, our waitress, Alex, provided exceptional service throughout the meal. Friendly, attentive, and professional. Definitely a 5-star experience from start to finish!

Drove down from Davis County (since ours turned into ‘In-n-Out’) And was totally disappointed! Famous Kenzie was our waitress, she was pleasant but seemed like she had a billion other things to do instead of get our menus, drinks, order and even down to bringing us our bill, there was 4 tables with 2 other wait staff on shift. Now to the food… we order 2 of the 3 meats plates… one of the meats was the iris down home chicken (which we all know takes 20 minutes to cook), all of it came out within 6-8 minutes. My beans were cold along with the corn on the cob, my chicken was overcooked which is weird since it was only a few minutes and everything was just not ok except the corn bread which is always on point. No drink refills cause ya know, Kenzie was so busy. We waited another 3-5 minutes to pay at the cashier stand even tho she saw us there 3 different times. Asked how everything was and we said it was ‘meh’ and in return we got ‘sign here and have a great day!’
I get off days in restaurants, it happens, I’m a GM of one so I totally get it but good service would have made it a better experience.

Worst experience ever at Famous Dave’s.
Fried chicken was dry as the Sahara, skin was tougher than roofing shingles.
Rib tips were basically little nubs of meat with huge pieces of cartilage.
Famous fries were under cooked, almost raw.
The best part of the 80$ meal was the 3 spicy pickle chips that gave with the brisket (which was cold and dry).
I don’t usually post comments but the quality of this meal for my family was so awful I needed to share. I tried calling the restaurant but after being sent to a voice mail multiple times I decided to write a review.

This was an all-member dinner meeting for members of the National Pony Express Association Inc. we had 32 members, everyone said the food was delicious, Amy when above and beyond, making sure the food was always ready and enough of it, asking if there’s anything else she could do for us, and helped out in any way she could. The group was so impressed with this place they want to do an all-dinner meeting again in February!

National chain, expected the usual but although not bad, it should have been better…. They claim the meats are smoked for about 12 hours, but I know smokers and BBQ and 12 hours should be sooo much tender, …. Again not bad but far from great. The rest of my table agreed that the best part was the fries…. Will I come here again?….. Maybe…. Lunch specials aren’t bad, sandwiches and stuff but for straight up BBQ feasts I’ll probably go back to the places I know and trust…… Including my own grills and smokers….

This was my first time to Famous Dave’s and it was a great experience. We were seated immediately, the server Chris brought drinks quickly and it was Diet Pepsi which was a great change from the more common Diet Coke. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. The only reason for the loss of a star was the corn was cooked from frozen and the fries were a little bland. Overall though, the chicken was crispy and juicy and well cooked. The various sauces were all delicious and the cornbread muffin was moist, slightly sweet and delicious. Prices were pretty typical for other similar style restaurants. Chris was a great server, attentive without being annoying.

We were very lucky to catch them on a slow Wednesday night and it was incredible. The greeter got the door from us and sat us right away. Our waiter had great suggestions and went above and beyond and got us gloves to eat our food with-if you know my guy you know he hates to touch his food. This was so sweet. The food was delicious and we got it pretty quick. Thank you! Will come again (I should have taken before pics of the food but we got right into it)

We arrived at around 6 o’clock and were seated right away. We had the best waiter, Chris. Food was great (no pictures because… hungry!) we had a 3 meat combo for two people. The corn muffins are delicious and you must have one. The flavored lemonades were a tad sweet but you can always ask for water and dilute them. We had the peach and raspberry lemonades. Didn’t need the restrooms so not sure how those look. Overall is was clean and a great place to have dinner.
