Extremely disappointed in the whole situation. For one I ordered my food online to be picked up at 2pm, I arrive at the location at 2:10pm and there’s no trace of my order, no one knows what’s going on.
Finally at 230 they figured out the system canceled my order, for what reason? No explanation. So then I have to wait an additional 20 minutes to get the food that I ordered ahead of time. Finally we get the food, go home and try to dine in.
The brisket was just fat, literally inedible. I fed it to my dogs because it was alll fat and no meat. The $4 I paid extra for the “pork”? That portion was a joke, literally a child’s plate.
First and probably the last time I will ever try this place. The disrespectful attitudes & lack of caring really shows where your pride is at for this restaurant. Picture of the “pork” included.

This place was great! They changed it up a bit inside but it looks so much more inviting now. The staff was very friendly, the food was amazing and the cornbread was delicious! We ordered the full rack of ribs dinner for 2. The wedges were okay, the mac and cheese was very good and the ribs were very meaty and tasty! They have about 4 different BBQ sauces on the table that you can try with the ribs as well. With the cornbread, it was so good that we wanted to get some to go and luckily they have a pack of 5 or I think it was 16 for a very resonable price! We had a very nice evening overall and would love to come back again soon!

If you aren’t a kid or someone with a little appetite, don’t come here. I paid $27 for the pick 2 combo (I asked for all south side rib tips & 2 loaded baked potatoes). I ended up getting 6 ribs (which werent rib tips) and 2 loaded baked potatoes (which they were out of so they gave me loaded mashed potatoes). If you want to get a meal that will actually fill you up, expect to pay a minimum of $60 per person. I am so upset and embarrassed that I went here. Im upset for obvious reasons but embarrassed because my boyfriend was hungry and was tired of the same food we always eat. I was looking up different places and told him about Famous Daves and he said heck yeah sounds good! Well, I ordered the pick TWO combo which means two meats and I said spare ribs for both meats. Y’all…. I got 6 ribs which means 3 ribs come with the pick one meal I was originally going to get him. They are dead wrong for that. The 3 ribs should be a kid meal not an adult meal! Then it’s $4 to add an extra TWO ribs onto the combo!! I went back in thinking there was something wrong with my order but nope! Then they wanted to charge me $17 for an extra 5 ribs cause I didnt get extra when I paid… like I seriously can’t make this up. I declined and started driving home… very slow… because I was trying to think of what I could do or where I could go to get more food. I just wasted my boyfriends $27 on a kids meal. I knew he would be upset if I brought that home to him cause it’s an insult to give a grown man 6 ribs. So I had to stop at another place and get more food!! So either treat yourself to a $60 meal that will hopefully get you somewhat full, or just don’t even bother coming here cause you will be upset if you think this BBQ place gives you a good amount for their prices. I actually have never been to a BBQ place that doesn’t load up your plate for the price you pay. I’m actually shocked and don’t understand it. The people that come here must have never been to an authentic BBQ place or just like spending big money for a light snack before they get an actual meal somewhere else.
Update; My boyfriend just finished the food and said it was the worst BBQ he’s ever had. The ribs had a couple bites of meat so mostly bone and they were very dry. He’s still very hungry so luckily I got him an actual meal from a different place.

We stopped at the Milwaukee Famous Dave’s on our way home from Minnesota, and it was such a great experience. Since Kenosha no longer has a location, this was the first time our kids got to try it and they absolutely fell in love, just like we knew they would.
The cornbread was freaking amazing (as always!), and we came between 5–6 on a Friday so we got to enjoy their appetizer specials. Our server was super attentive and sweet, I wish I remembered her name because she was truly wonderful. The restaurant was very clean, our food came out faster than I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant, and everything tasted exactly how Famous Dave’s is supposed to taste.
Overall, it was just a great visit. I’m so thankful we stopped, and we definitely can’t wait to come back!

Pleasantly surprised. Had low expectations, but they were exceeded. And the table service was nice and appreciated. And the setting comfortable.
The St Louis Ribs were flavorful, although could have been more tender. A little more slow with a tad bit more love on the prep process would have made them amazing.
The chicken was perfect. Tender and juicy with a nice flavor.
The burnt ends, well, aren’t really burnt ends. At least not by my standard. But they are good. Tender and flavorful meat chucks. So still worth it.
The beans are simply beans. Decent beans. But nothing special.
The chili was surprisingly good. Usually not a fan of tomato and bean based chili. Yet, this chili worked as there was enough meat to call it meaty. And the chili was cooked to a flavorful thick consistency. Nicely done for this style of chili.
Overall. I rank this as a solid 4 star BBQ chain when comparing to other casual dining BBQ chains.

Walked in at 3:55pm, no one at hostess station. Finally noticed and sat, 1 server who was also barber while others stood around and did nothing (or at least it seemed). Took quite a while to get my tiny meat portions and meal. Sierra was nice and worked hard and she’s the only reason I didn’t give 2 stars

“Chicken” tender meal is not at all as advertised. There was no chicken whatsoever and more like fried flour. The kids drink was delivered without a safety seal, dirty and appeared to be drank from. To package this meal knowing it’s for a child is just wild. Rest of the food ordered was mediocre. Ordered from DoorDash so I’m not surprised they would package this meal and thinks ok. Do better.

I had to wait a bit but that’s just how it is today with understaffing and whatnot. But damn!! If that is not the best single barbecue sandwich I’ve had. I mean, I cut it in half. And not because I couldn’t finish it but because I didn’t want to miss it after it was gone for some later tonight. But I ended up eating it anyways. So that means it’s a decent size 2 for what you’re paying. If you’re looking for something fast too, not like restaurant, you know like the $50 barbecue brisket meals you can get at those kind of restaurants. This isn’t that place though if I remember you can’t sit down if you wanted to. I took mine on the road. But, I’d wait even 20 minutes for just this fast food sandwich. I had to wait 10 minutes for just a side and a sandwich though. Lol But what I’m trying to say and I could have wrapped it up a lot quicker is it is DEFINITELY worth the wait. Thank YOU Famous what? Famous Dave’s!!! Ty, for recognizing veterans as well today. Only 45,000 or so American World War II vets left. And declining with finger snaps. With high food prices, restaurants have reason not to give away freebies anymore tbh. You didn’t make an excuse. Keep it on, Famous Dave.

UPDATE! Today on 02/27/24 Pete delivered hot and fresh to our door an amazing meal, correct items, sauces Included! Customer service was impeccable! I appreciate an establishment that goes above and beyond to correct its wrongs, now the best BBQ in America is prepared by me, buttttt you guys did a great job! Thank you and we will be back! We ordered we got someone else’s food filed a complaint restaurant still had not responded,then to top it off the food was cold on Valentine’s Day and tasted horrible. We threw it away wasted 50 bucks. This is what we ordered vs what we got.. Never again
