This restaurant is family oriented and people friendly. The service is really good and the menu offers such a variety. The brisket is mouth watering ! The cornbread, ears of corn, ribs, potatoes and so much more, all delicious, simply the best. I applaud the chef for his expertise in his preparation of everything . You CAN’T go wrong choosing to eat here!!! Makes you want to go every night or day!!! Deserves more than 5 stars . GO!!!!!

Best dining experience ever. Our waiter Ryan was amazing. We have three kids and he made the experience so fun for them and gave them his children books and signed them for the kids. I’ve eaten plenty of ribs this year from all over and the other day I went to Famous Dave’s and had one of the meatiest tender ribs I’ve eaten this year. The Garlic mashed potatoes were on time everything else was OK… Portion of chopped pork was good portion seemed small… Over all good eating experience … Place was clean and staff was friendly.. .. The 5 different sauces are good on those chips…. I will be back to check for consistency …!!!

I’ve been to dozens of Famous Dave’s locations around the country and most are very consistent. This location was excellent for both the food and the service. We ordered the brisket, sausage, wings, and spare ribs. Everything was hot, juicy, delicious, and came out very quickly. And of course we ended the meal with the bread pudding, which is my favorite dessert when coming here. It’s actually the only place I’ll order bread pudding, as I find it that spectacular.

I generally don’t review chain restaurants, but I feel that this one really exceeds all expectations. The food is consistently excellent quality – and I have never had anything less than wonderful service. We have a young daughter and the staff is always accommodating, entertaining, and caring towards her and us. Great job all around!

Tables were sticky and so were the menus. Food was good, but the server was checking in very frequently. She only seemed to disappear once we needed to pay the bill. For good BBQ in Delaware, try Russell’s Quality Foods near Prices Corner instead. It’s better value and better eating.

I used to come here pretty frequently from when they first opened until about 2015. In that period, I would have rated it four stars, but then they started having high turnover of staff and inconsistency in the food. In our most recent visit during peak dinner time, the place was nearly empty, the staff was clearly unhappy, and our food had obviously been sitting for quite some time before being served as it was dried out and though, not something you’d associate with barbecue chicken and beef brisket. The manager offered to bring out replacements, but we’d been waiting for a while and wanted to go home. It’s not likely we’ll be returning.

I hadn’t been there in quite sometime because “HAPPY HOUR “, had been discontinued. I had the desire to eat ribs, so I decided to go there for dinner, was seated quickly however it took 15 minutes for the Server to show, then another 10 before order was taken, another 15 before my food arrived, drinks later. Bbq sauce was SUPER SWEET, so I stopped eating the meat, just ate veggies. Same time frame to leave, because I ordered a take out. Disappointed again….could have spent that money somewhere else….
