I loved the atmosphere and the vibes there, we requested to sit out in the patio as it was a beautiful evening and the staff was really friendly and good and quickly arranged a table for us.
For food, I would say it was the best Italian pizza I had in Waterloo, also the best part is they have the vegetarian options which was the best part, the staff did also suggested us some really good dishes to order and it was fantastic.
I would highly recommend somebody who is a fan of Italian food and wood fire pizza should definitely go there and try out by themselves.
Their house beer also tasted very good must try!

We had a great experience at Famoso. The staff was friendly, service was fast and attentive. The host had given my kids some dough to play with, which was extremely kind and thoughtful.
The food was phenomenal. The pizza was delicious and you could tell right away it was made with fresh ingredients. They have a good variety of food options to choose from. Their patio has umbrella’s and offers lots of shade. Portions are big and prices are very reasonable. Definitely a 5 start restaurant.

We had a wonderful dining experience! We ordered the Mediterranean flatbread from the share plates menu, and the portion was surprisingly generous. It came with really delicious dips, especially the hummus, which was rich and flavorful.
We also tried the Spaghetti Pomodoro, which was simple yet very well made and satisfying. To finish, we ordered three different pizzas — all of them were fresh, perfectly baked, and full of flavor.
A special thanks to our server, Sebastian, who was extremely helpful, polite, and friendly. He made sure everything was perfect and took great care of us throughout the meal. His service truly made our experience even better.
Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing experience at Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria! From the moment we arrived, the service stood out — Jason took excellent care of us. Jason was incredibly friendly, polite, and made us feel comfortable right away. Our orders arrived promptly, and everything was spot on.
We started with the Bruschetta and the Fire-Roasted Tomato Bisque, and both were absolutely delicious. The bisque, made from roasted Campania tomatoes and topped with feta, served alongside garlic flatbread, was easily one of the highlights of the meal.
For our mains, we enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Margherita Pizza, both of which were rich in flavor and perfectly prepared.
But the real star of the evening was Carmela’s Tiramisu — hands down one of the best tiramisus we’ve ever had! It was so light, airy, and packed with flavor, truly a perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, we loved our experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend both the food and the exceptional service!

To start, the service was great, and everyone was super friendly. The pasta was amazing, and the meatballs are a must try (probably the best item we had). The pizza was also good with high quality meats on the pizza. We found that the crust was a little too thin to the point it was difficult to eat the pizza though. We also got a chicken noodle soup which was served with a flatbread that we enjoyed. Overall a great spot for Italian food!

This is my favourite place to have pizza in the city! Their Alfredo shrimp pasta is too good and all the pizzas are flavourful with perfect amount of base sauce and toppings. They renovated a lil bit last year and it looks much nicer. They have beautiful patio so if you want to relax and have your wine/beer along with your past or pizza with a view of uptown Waterloo then this is a perfect place. The servers are very kind and are good with recommendations as well.
