Our server Joy was friendly and fast! The atmosphere is your typical southern dinner which is what we were looking for! The food however, was disappointing. Instead of three chicken strips we got 4 nugget strips, the Philly Cheesesteak was on Texas toast (which I expected) however the peppers and onions were raw, the cabbage had no salt and pork chop was small! Definitely not worth a $53 bill(before tip).

My husband and I have been taking my 90-year-old dad here for a while now. Service is top-notch. It’s called “Family Restaurant, ” and that’s exactly how they treat you: like family. Food is good, fast consistent. I recommend the home fries over the hash browns. For a good laid-back meal, you should go!

The food was simple tasty southern cooking. The fried green tomatoes were very good, fried just right tonight. The vegetable soup was loaded with vegetables and not hot, the way I like it. The Chili was alright, but my wife would have like it to be hot. The service lacked the touch that could lift this little restaurant to another level. There seemed to be some regulars who are faithful to eat here. Nothing special about the atmosphere, but it was clean. I was surprised by the music choice since it seemed to have a desire to honor Christ on the menu. I chose to visit today because they honor Christ with verses on their menu which I saw online when looking for a place to eat while staying in a local hotel.

This was my first time going there and not sure I’ll go back. The chicken strips didn’t have any flavor, except for the honey mustard I used. The potato salad……potatoes weren’t hald way cooked and couldn’t be cut with a fork. Mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese were decent but way too much pepper in them!

If you want true Southern comfort food, this is THE place!! Nothing fancy or trendy, just amazing home cooked food like my grandma used to make.
Hamburger steak with onion gravy, scrambled eggs, grits n butter and a biscuit worthy of gravy is an excellent mid-morning meal that will keep you full until supper time.
When you have coffee or tea, someone will stop by to fill your cup.
Don’t eat that fake country food at those places along the interstate, come here for the real deal!!
Thank you for the great everything y’all provide!

I won’t be going back, and I luv a traditional diner like this. The service was good but thats about the only positive.
I had a two egg breakfast and a side of gravy for my biscuit. The hash browns were on the flat top waaaay to long and so crisp they were not enjoyable at all. The biscuit was rubbery which was odd and a bit disturbing…im not sure how a biscuit gets rubbery.
Lastly was the poor cleanliness. Ceiling tiles with water stains all over the diner and dirty bathrooms solidified there won’t be a second visit. Disappointed tells the story.

Loved the dinner vibe, definitely makes you feel like family. It’s a come on in and find a seat and they’ll be with you . Quick service, the server (didn’t get her name)was fast and impressive. It was anything you wanted to eat until 1:30-then closed. Place was packed, but believe me folks, they filled they’re bellies and off they went. It was fast food, great food (cornbeef hash omelet), and wonderful atmosphere. FAMILY Restaurant until next time.
