If you haven’t been to Family Palace in a while (or ever), you’re seriously missing out. I stopped in today and had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and it was SO good — perfectly crispy, melty, and comforting in the best way.
And can we talk about the sweet potato fries?! They are surprisingly hard to find around here and theirs are incredible. Crispy outside, soft inside, seasoned perfectly.
This place deserves more love. If you forgot about it, go back. If you’ve never tried it, now’s the time.

Family Palace was very tasty! I got the hog skillet with raisin toast. My friend got the egg special with bacon and sourdough toast. My friend really liked that you could order one egg. The service was very good. A lot options on the menu!

This is a good spot for breakfast.
My pic is the cheesy potato skillet and the one in the background is the corned beef skillet.
Both are really good. The best is the corned beef. Its fresh and real meat and not some canned junk you get if you order at other places.
I had bad corned beef in the past and this one has been the best so far. Tell me I’m wrong and I’ll go there next time

Great location in a busy shopping area. Have not been in several years. Restaurant has been completely renovated & looks roomy & functional. Food is still delicious with friendly & helpful wait staff. Always a treat to eat here.

Coming here has never disappointed. We had the chorizo and steak skillet with a side of pancakes. Everything was delicious and the presentation is simple yet mouthwatering. Our server was friendly, and the pancakes finished off our hearty meal perfectly.
