What a cute little coffee spot in Sanford! We had our dog so we sat out on the patio area which was really cute! Inside there was plenty of space and lots of different seating areas. The chai and dirty chai were delicious and Zeus approved of the bacon croissant. The blueberry muffin was also very fresh. A must visit if you’re in the Sanford are.

Loved my first time here. We just moved to the area and I’ve been wanting to stop by. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast along with a coffee, hot chocolate and iced coffee!
Food was great. You’ll want to make sure you like everything bagel seasoning before getting the avocado toast. Iced vanilla latte was AMAZING! We will be back

I’d heard such great things about Family Grounds, and it fully lived up to the hype! The coffee was excellent and clearly made with care. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, and the outdoor patio was surprisingly peaceful, even being right in downtown Sanford.
It’s the kind of place where you can relax, catch up with friends, or get a little work done in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they’ve created this space with community and comfort in mind. Can’t wait to come back!

Never even knew this amazing coffee shop was here. So I want to spread the word. The coffee is excellent quality and I love getting a real mug when I sit inside. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I wasn’t a huge fan of the food, but the coffee is what really matters here. Im a girl that likes flavor and I just felt like the food was bland and lack luster for my taste. But you may love it. Regardless I’ll be back.

Trying to not be biased, but gotta shout out to the owners of this coffee shop. Really enjoyed my first hopefully of many visits here. They roast all there beans in house so very fresh and you get the opportunity to try diffrent blends and varieties with drip or pour over. Great menu for espresso drinks as well! Grabbed some beans to go and can’t wait stop by to get fresh beans when I need them at home. If your headed down to Pinehurst for ⛳️, be sure to make a pitstop at Family Grounds or from Pinehurst into Raleigh or Triangle. You will not he dissapointed. Great space for families or by client meetings. All are welcome!

So many positive things – excellent coffee – one of us prefers medium roast and there were three to choose from – my Cortado was served in a beautiful ceramic cup – breakfast burrito was outstanding – staff was friendly and service was very quick and efficient
