First time at this spot, fantastic service … we had two little ones, Kristen took care of us entirely. I don’t leave reviews often, it was review worthy. 10/10 experience, it’s hard to get out with our kiddos she made us feel welcomed, food came out fantastic and quick, loved it and we will be back!

We went at 4:30pm ordered a kids meal pork sandwich, adult pork sandwich and an entree pork dinner w/ribs for $9.99 more, sides were all hot and good, our pork was warm outside cold inside. Sauces were good, like Bonos, banana pudding was good. The $9.99 half rack was charged $12.99 . This was our first time to visit. It’s pricy for cold meat. But I think we may try it again someday as a back up if Woodpeckers barbeque runs out.
Cold pulled pork is just a turn off, ribs were good but real small.

Enjoy dining at Bono’s, but wish they would stock the $9.99/refill cups as advertised on the table. Second time in two weeks to dine here and they are still out of these cups. If you don’t have them in stock, don’t advertise this offer!

Called in an order at 8:40 guy on the phone said we’re closing in a few minutes. I said okay. When I got there I paid & sat down. The manager put the food on the counter and I was waiting for 5 minutes without telling me it was mine. Ended up getting 2 pull pork dinners & side of toast for $34. This was the pulled pork- half of the meat was inedible burnt dried pieces of pork. One picture is my meal where I actually pulled out all of the unedible pieces of meat. I’m not sure if they were pissed because it was almost closing time or they just was at the end of the burnt pork & decided to serve it. Either way no thanks Bonos

Maybe I am coming at the wrong time, I was so disappointed with the ribs and chicken. The ribs were dry and old and the chicken was so hard for my client a window could have been knock out, I really appreciate when the owner would come around and let people know or send someone there from time to time. The fries were great and the bake beans also but nothing else and that’s not Bono’s for me this is my second time with bad results Be Bless

We live in St. Johns and normally drive the 30 extra minutes to go to another Bono’s location to avoid this one but since we had a long day we figured to give this location another try since it’s so close to us. When we received our order my bf took one bite and realized his pork was dry, I also tried it and agreed. My bf told the waiter which responded with that he didn’t know what to do so he’d let someone else know. The manager came to our table and it was the same thing….he offered my bf another pork sandwich so my bf asked if the pork would also be dry and the manager said “he didn’t know” and offered if he can bring him chicken instead. We ended up asking for a refund and can hear the employees talking about us behind the counter. The woman at the front didn’t make eye contact with us as she was giving us the receipt, I simply thanked her and she didn’t say a word. We didn’t create a scene and just simply wanted what we were paying for. We ended up driving to the other Bonos location in Neptune Beach and the food was delicious and the staff was friendly like always. Unfortunately, we won’t be visiting this Bono’s again anytime soon.

This restaurant has fair prices and friendly staff/service. The food is good and served fast. I typically order the pulled pork or the turkey platter. In my opinion, places like Bonos/Woodys/Sonnys are basically the same. If I’m truly craving BBQ, I tend to visit places like 4 Rivers, Woodpeckers or Mojos. Having said that, Bonos is still decent option if you a looking for a quick BBQ meal.

Server was fantastic. Pulled pork sandwich was great. Wings are SO good (smoked, then flash fried to finish!), but could’ve used a bunch more buffalo sauce. The disappointing part was that I got myself all excited for a big, just grilled burger, only to find out you can’t get it anything but well done. What!? Who does that!? Overall, we’ll be back. I just won’t come if I’m hungry for a burger.

Bono’s has been a part of my life for as long as i can remember. Lou Bono’s on beach blvd when I was a child. Then the mandarin store.
When we got one in Fruit Cove we were thrilled.
The food is really good. The staff is wonderful.
I wish they had a large order of onion rings.
Today we were 7 and we had a relaxed meal.
Thank you for still being around for us to enjoy.

We go to Bono’s about 3 times a week. There’s a reason we go so much. We love the food and we love the service. All the servers are great, but we use Kristen Jenkins the most. She is awesome. She’s friendly and fast and very personable. Honestly she’s one of the reasons that we go to this location. I know everyone has a bad day on occasion, but I’ve never seen her have one with us. In my opinion, Bono’s is blessed to have her as an employee.
Thanks
