This is a neighborhood fish market. And I say that because my sister have been living in this neighborhood for something years and she’s been going to this fish market. But she recently passed away and I’ve been going to the places where she goes and eat and this was one. She loved this fish market, so even all my family to come from everywhere. Went there today for dinner. My first visit and my last. Customer service was horrible the cashier really didn’t like her job and it showed. Red beans and rice disgusting. Mac and cheese, was tasteless. Cheese was piled on top instead of mixed in. The red snapper was ok. It could have been so much better if the grease was not old.

Me and my family have eaten here for years it’s usually very good but a few of the staff need customer training classes. My last few experiences though thumbs down. Today I ordered the jar of oysters combo plate and a side of greens. I received 4 oysters unseasoned and the greens weren’t either I will no longer waste my money. I wish it was how it used to be.

I take my previous statement back. The food wasn’t good either. It use to be good. Now the fish tastes fishy. The Mac and cheese is dry and tasteless. The red beans and rice is bland as well. Spring rolls have no sauce. And to top off nasty food the customer service sucks!

My combo Whiting fish/shrimp meal with cold slaw, potato salad & 4 hush puppies was prepared perfectly. I loved that everything taste fresh, not salty and definitely not oily especially being fried food. I also give ultimate to my fish being HOT straight out of the oil which happen to also be fresh & not rancid. I enjoyed all my recommendations from the very kind & knowledgeable young lady cashier.

I was wanting some fried fish and came across this place on Google. I have never been here and probably will never go just because of all the bad reviews. Seems like they take long to prepare the orders and the customer service is bad and that’s very important regardless how good the food is. I’d rather not be annoyed so I’ll just stay away. HORRIBLE. I ordered 5 peice fish it was more like 5 nuggets. Macaroni salad taste like sugar, red beans and rice had no seasoning. My daughter said they tastes like the bottom of a pot and the hush puppies were a tad dry but the only thing worth eating. My husband said everything sucked. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

I ordered an combo that included 3 pc Red snapper, 4 medium shrimp,3 oysters and 3 hush puppies. The sides included red beans and rice as well as mac and cheese. What I received in my order was 2 small pieces of snapper and a catfish steak. So they did mess up the order, but I have to say the fish was good and tasty especially catfish steak. The mac and cheese looks like it was from the box and the red beans and rice was kinda dry.
