Cold, slim pieces of meat jun. after paying, cashier said it was premade / not made to order. They also had packaged raw meat in a bucket. Unknown if it was for human consumption or its purpose.

Food was fresh and delicious. We are visiting from Texas. Thank you for a good hearty meal after getting off of a long flight.

Authentic Korean mixed plate. My Korean husband was impressed by the quality and variety of the banchan (side dishes). Staff are friendly and the shop is clean. There are a few seats inside, otherwise there is outside seating directly next to the shop.

Be the envy of everyone at the airport by rolling up with a plate lunch from here before your flight. Unless you just love airport Burger King (no hate, just saying).

The regular plate with 4 sides was enough for both me and my husband to have a filling lunch before takeoff. The bbq chicken was well marinated, tender, and the perfect about of grilled char. The cucumber kimchi is perfectly crunchy with a good kick, the spinach is fresh, the fish cake was bouncy and seasoned well, and the tofu was fresh.

Good food with good portions!
The spicy sauce was more sweet and spicy than spicy.
The place has very little indoor seating- so you may have to sit outside (there is decent space outside)

Went for a quick bite. I didn’t have the time to wait for an order to be cooked. They have bentos and side orders on their front counter.

This family restaurant was one of the best that I have had here in Hawaii. Their plates allow me to choose 4 among various side dishes, most of them are vegetables, so it makes me feel like a real Hawaiian when having them. The photo that I posted here is chicken katsu. It is great, but I personally found it ever better if you choose to have the garlic shrimp as the main dish. The owners are super friendly and super nice. They recognized me when I came back again before I am about to leave Hawaii. I am pretty sure that I will come to this restaurant again if I can visit Hawaii again next time. Mahalo & a hui hou!

We found this out-of-the-way restaurant the first day we were in Honolulu. We made sure to eat our last supper there four days later when we left Hawaii. The Kalbi is absolutely delicious. The homemade mandoo is out of this world. The kimchee is crispy and tasty with just the right amount of heat.

My yook gae jang was mostly bean sprouts. Added the extra (4) sides for $4.25 but they weren’t worth it, a bit bland. Spent $25 on lunch.
