What a gem! Brought my elderly father here, and we had a fabulous meal. An extensive wine list by the glass, a delicious burrata appetizer, and we split a very nice pizza. Lots of charm, attentive service. And they have a few products you can buy to take away. Highly recommended!

Great Italian dining on Wilson street. The atmosphere depends on which side of the restaurant you’re on, but the food and staff were amazing. If you’re not in the mood to dine-in they offer takeout and delivery as well.

We had a wonderful meal last night. Everything was homemade, authentic Italian, I highly recommend the pizza!!!! My son had it and it looked and tasted great. I had the lasagna, it was in the top 3, maybe the best I have ever had. The service and atmosphere were also spot on, a must try in the Hamilton/Ancaster area. Reminded me of the now closed Castelli Cucina on James Street, it was my previous go to for authentic Italian. This is my new go to!

Hello, I’m excited to share that Famigia Ristorante is one of the most authentic Italy food restaurants I’ve been to. The food is incredible. The service, exceptional! And the atmosphere is like home. You feel as though you are in the kitchen back waiting for that comfort food to be made by your mum or grandmum. The kitchen aroma is so nostalgic and brings you back to an innocent time. The owner is an amazing guy. And let’s not forget about the desserts there. The tiramisu is a WOW FACTOR! I’ve been there a total of 5 times, and I feel like part of the family. I felt like that from the first visit. Marco, you’re doing an exceptional job, and you do it from your heart, and it shows! We had a delightful meal here. We begin with a tasty bread basket, then shared an amazing Famiglia Pizza (with the pears), shared a bottle of their house wine (could take home what we did not finish), and shared a scrumptious double gelato for dessert. Much of what we ate was made at the restaurant. The server was warm and friendly and have us space.

Oh my gosh! This place is absolutely outstanding, delicious and beautifully authentic Italian. When I arrived owner Nicole greeted me with such a warm welcome and was keen to help in my order. Today it was take out as I wanted to visit and taste but didn’t have the time to stay. One gorgeous award winning Pizza was quickly tossed, dressed and into the open area oven. The decor is on trend, bright and it had such a fun vibe I’d love to return on Friday night and feel the energy! The pizza was magnificent and I can’t wait to return again! Thank you! We had our son’s confirmation at famiglia and everything was outstanding! Nichole, Mark and their staff were fabulous! The food was delicious, the drinks plentiful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We are already planning our families next event here. You won’t be disappointed! A beautiful, family run gem in the heart of Ancaster! We loved it!

Great classic Italian meals made by family recipes. We had the lasagna, meatball app, tiramisu, and pasta of the day. Everything tasted great and wasn’t too heavy like Americanized Italian style. The prices are a bit expensive though which is my biggest con.

What a great stop! We’re from Buffalo NY, and were passing through and made an impromptu stop for a bite to eat.
The service was wonderful- friendly, welcoming and very helpful with all our questions.
Although the service was great, it took a back seat to the important stuff- THE FOOD!
