I went to see Heartless (the band that plays music from Heart). The lead singer sounded just like Ann Wilson. Food was really good as well.

Heads up, y’all — I had a night worth writing home and posting about!

Before I hit you with the full recap, photos, and shout-outs (coming soon!), I had to drop a quick pre-post PSA: Last night at @fallstonbarrelhouse?

LEGENDARY. Like… “why-is-this-not-on-TV” kind of legendary.

First, let’s talk talent:
The stage was absolutely on fire with @miggs.countrymusic , the ever-soulful @deancrawfordmusic , and country royalty-in-the-making Ms. @tylerreesetritt (yes, that Tritt — the apple didn’t fall far, and this one came with a mic and a fire playlist). These artists didn’t just play — they performed like they were headlining at CMA Fest. And honestly? They should be.

Now… let’s talk food.
Listen — I came for the music, but I may or may not have fallen in love with the Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Bowl. This dish deserves its own spotlight. Chicken, shrimp, rice, grilled peppers and onions, all drizzled in a spicy signature sauce that had me seriously reconsidering if I should start a fan page for it.
Mom? She stuck to her favorite: those golden, crispy, in-house breaded chicken tenders. And yes, we both devoured the legendary crab balls like we didn’t just eat dinner an hour before. No regrets.

✨ They say music and food are medicine for the soul… so I guess last night was a double prescription. And yes — I’m already planning my refill.

❗Fair warning: I have no idea how long that spicy bowl of heaven will be on the menu, so if you’ve got taste buds and someone you love hanging with, this is your sign to make it a night out ASAP.

Full post coming soon — but consider this your official spoiler alert.

THANK YOU Elly !!

We went there today, my 2nd time and I work with an older special needs gentleman and he likes to try new places so it was his 1st. Our waiter, I think his name was Andrew was so friendly to us and took the time to talk and had great service. My friend gave it a 10/10 and said he would definitely be back. I got the pot pie and he go the chicken sandwich with chips. My buddy said this lunch made his day!!!! Thanks Andrew!

This establishment is a must stop if you find yourself anywhere near Fallston Maryland. Our server Ruth was amazing and went above and beyond during our visit. The cheeseburger was cooked exactly as ordered. The cheesesteak was amazing, and the fries for both orders were excellent as well. Got to see Nick’s in Time play while there and will be making the trip back down to in August to see them again and enjoy this great establishment again.

I cannot express how grateful my family and I are for this incredible restaurant and the kindness they have shown us during such a devastating time. After we lost our home in a fire on Christmas Eve, they didn’t just help once, they stepped up repeatedly, hosting multiple fundraisers to support my family.
Their continued generosity, compassion, and dedication to helping us through this tragedy meant more than words can truly capture. It was incredibly touching to see a business go above and beyond day after day, showing such genuine care and heart for our family and the community.
This restaurant is filled with truly wonderful people, and their support will never be forgotten. We are forever thankful and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I stopped in for the first time last night to catch a band, and honestly, I want to like this place. The atmosphere is actually really good and the service was pretty decent, the staff were attentive and doing their job well.
But I have to talk about the pricing because it is absolutely ungodly. I was charged nearly $5 for a small can of Natural Light. Come on now. We are talking about the absolute cheapest beer possible here. If this were a craft IPA or a premium import, I’d get it, but $5 for a Natty Light is wild.
To be clear, this isn’t about not having the money to go out; it’s about reasonable pricing. Gouging customers on a bottom-shelf “cheap” beer just feels wrong. I’d love to come back for the music and the vibe, but it’s hard to justify when the drink prices make zero sense for what you’re actually getting.

We’ve driven by a lot, and today (Saturday) we (family of 5) stopped in at 3pm to eat. The food was phenomenal… the meatloaf is a must! Staff was great. My one issue and it’s a big one, is the live band screaming from the bar. You can’t have a conversation at your table without yelling.  The band was horrible, so that made it worse. Then the singer came into the restaurant area and asked if it was “ok” to sing a song about balls. If you can’t see that families with kids are in there eating and you still have to ask permission, then maybe you should skip the song. No, I’d not like to hear you sing about your balls while I eat dinner. I also have a family member who is sensitive to stimulation like loud music, so it makes it even less enjoyable for her. I understand if it’s the evening and you have a separate section for live bands, but at 3 in the afternoon…sorry, it ruined the entire outing. I hear on Mondays it’s trivia night, so maybe that’s when we can come and eat. Fingers crossed for the next visit. It’s unfortunate because the food is worth the visit.

Went to the Barrel House Sunday to catch some music for the end of my week relaxation. They did not disappoint with the band choice this week. The band was Nicks in Time, a Stevie Nicks tribute band. They were fantastic. Their lead singer played the part and had the voice to match. The Sunday crowd was great and responsive to the music.
I only ordered an appetizer and got the Fish Tenders. They were tasty with the Chipotle Ranch dipping sauce.
I would definitely come back to see that band again.

Stopped in for dinner and ended up catching some live music which was a nice touch to the outdoor dining. Our server Amanda was fantastic, so attentive and could literally almost read our minds with her top notch suggestions and complete tenacity with making sure we had everything we needed while dining and going home! Absolutely will be coming back again, good food, drinks and service can’t get better than that!! We mostly just ordered apps and drinks so it’s a must to return for the inside dining experience and entrées

Pork meat is too salty; they might need to check that. But I had another meal before, which was good. Sweet potato fries and my broccoli are delicious. Service are great!
