The staff is wonderful! I called in advance because, we had a very large tourist group from Asia. So we wrote down our twenty-two meal selections with each person’s name. The staff prepared our meals and wrote each person’s name and selection on the box. They served our food in record time! I only wish I would have remembered to take a picture of each meal! But here is a picture of one small stack of the 22. The food was very fresh, warm, and delicious. Very large portions! The manager did an excellent job organizing and made checking out a breeze. The menu has a wide variety. It is nice to sit in the shade outside. The general store is unique with souvenirs, clothes, camp supplies, mini mart food, etc. They also have baked goods and ice cream. Their pumpkin ice cream in a waffle cone is a treat, though they have a wonderful selection of many flavors!

This a very cute store/restaurant. The breakfast sandwich was good, they made it fresh to order. The coffee was just ok. In the evening we came back for ice cream. The peanut butter overload. Is the treat everyone needs in their lives! Nothing like a frozen treat while taking in the sites of a rushing river. They sell some really nice merchandise inside. I still regret not purchasing a hat. I guess I will have to next time.

Hot dog and fries looked delicious, and got them my food in less than 5 minutes. I sat down to eat and sadly the fries were very hard and my hotdog was room temperature. I got a buffalo dog and was kinda disappointed in the food.
I ended up eating a few fries and half the hot dog. Im sure if the fries were not rock hard and the hot dog was hot it would have been a very good meal.
Store itself is neat with a little bit of everything for all your needs. I was able to restock a few random supplies for my overland adventures.

My wife and I had burgers. They were precooked and barely warm when we got them. The cheese was still cold on the burgers. Pretty much the worst we’ve ever had. Fries were ok. All in all the food was subpar and extremely overpriced. $15 for a burger that isn’t even warm enough to eat is criminal.

The lady handling the food at the outside counter had no gloves on while she was sweating all over everything, handling fries with her bare hands and wiping her hands on her clothes. The fries had so much sand/grit it felt like I was chewing on a pile of sand. Someone obviously didn’t know you need to wash and scrub potatoes for fresh fries. The fries and chili on the chili dog were both flavorless. Such a waste of a nice spot.

Cheese fries for app, but way too much cheese on it has you can see, although they were good. Philly Steak sandwich was great, I highly recommend it. The onion rings sucked, the breading was too hard and crunchy.
The waitress, oh my! She is probably the worst and friendliest waitress I have ever had. There were only 2 tables for total of 4 people, so it wasn’t busy. She has about a 5 second attention span, at best. Most customers would probably get frustrated but it was comical to me. She was extremely friendly and meant well, bless her heart!

Nice spot which seems like it peaked in the 80s and has slowly been eroded of its charm.
Food is overpriced for the amount and quality received. For example, a $15 meat sandwich gets you maybe 2 strips of anemic and unseasoned beef with a nice 1 inch dab of mayo.
“Full size” burgers are comparable to a Wendy’s kids meal burger and only take up about half the bun (where’s the beef?).
Pizza is bland and the sauce is basically Red-40 with a hint tomato flavor.
I guess that with no real competition around, there’s no incentive for acceptable quality.

Ice cream is par for the course. Nothing to write home about, but made the kids happy. We got 4 small dishes for ~$15. So didn’t break the bank either. Service was quick and the location is convenient.
Also got lunch here another day. Wraps were ok, nothing too impressive, but the price was a lot for 3 wraps and drinks.

Oh boy. This is not the falls market I once knew. Ordered food and got a nasty box of inedible slop. The burger was a half frozen, half burned puck of tvp. I don’t think there was a morsel of beef. Gave the food back and got a refund. Clearly, the owners don’t care about quality or cleanliness for that matter. This place has been on a downhill trajectory for years and I think they’ve found a new bottom.

Food was just ok. I got a Buffalo chicken wrap and it didn’t quite hit the spot. But the inside was really cool! Tight quarters with a ton of souvenirs. There’s an ice cream bar inside, and it’s also a convenience store. Feels homey and a great place to start your Ohiopyle adventures.
