Stopped in after a long hike in the rain. They welcomed my dog and me in the outdoor bar and let us sit at the bar so we wouldn’t get wet. They had 8 beers on tap, I tried 6 small pours. All 6 were local and tasty. The food menu had a great variety, it was truly very hard to decide, I might return to try more things on the menu! The brisket, broccolini and fresh cut fries were amazing! The brisket was so tender and the bbq sauce was delicious! And everyone is so friendly; you definitely get the small town vibes.

Great local place for food and brew in Ohiopyle. Seating is a bit limited inside, but that is fixed by using the outside patio. We ended up sitting with a local couple and chatted the time away.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and was delish. I got the Fish Taco and my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich. I got a Trail Maker beer which was a nice ale. Not too light with a little bite.
This is within the Ohiopyle State Park. It is right next to the train tracks and at the end of Garrent Road. This is also the start of the Laurel Highland Trail.

Great casual place, huge portions of appetizers, cheese curds shown below. Redneck, not high class -shots served in throwaway plastic Dixie cups. Good place to kick back and be a redneck.

INCREDIBLE! Staff was very friendly and efficient! I had the Mac and Cheese Platter with Brisket and it was EXCELLENT! Servers were very personable and fun to talk to! I can tell they love running the restaurant! Would definitely recommend a stop here if you are in or near Ohiopyle!

The restaurant is in a super cool location you can actually hear the river flowing nearby, and the train runs right in front of the building, which was awesome to see and hear while eating. It really gives the place a neat atmosphere that you don’t get everywhere. However, the service was a little slow and honestly kind of lackluster, and the food itself was just okay. It’s a BBQ place, but I’m from Texas… so my standards are pretty high. The brisket was pretty dry, more like thick bacon, and didn’t have much flavor it actually had that kind of old, reheated meat taste. Their BBQ sauce was good, though, and definitely helped bring some life back into it. The seasoned fries were actually really solid when they say seasoned, they mean it! Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience at all, just not my favorite BBQ spot, especially compared to what I’m used to back home.

This won’t be one of my most detailed reviews, but I must say we stop here every time visit Ohiopyle. When the weather is conducive, we’ll catch a live band outside; the beer on tap is always fresh & cold… and enough varieties to satisfy every craft beer enthusiast. We’ve eaten here quite a few times as well and the bar food is always delicious. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Falls City Pub & Restaurant at times is a hit or miss. When they are busy it is hard for them to keep up with the magnitude of customers and that is understandable as sometimes, they get very busy.
There are times the food, service, entertainment, and atmosphere was very good. There were other times we waited quite a while to get a seat and had to wait for a while to get our order taken. However, we will go back there as we like the location, the food, and being able to listen to music while we eat.
They have outside and inside seating available, but they do tend to get busy as many enjoy going there. Definitely stop by there as the food quality and prices are exceptional!

Stumbled upon this place with my dad a few years ago. I love stopping by for some good food and a drink. The atmosphere is great the staff are very friendly. Plus they have outdoor seating for the spring, summer and fall. I can’t wait to come back.

They have lots of beer selections and their food was delicious. We got burgers with chips and salsa and loaded fries for the app; every was fantastic. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
