The food did not impress, unfortunately. We ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich & cheese & pepp pizza. The sandwich we ordered without the lettuce & tomato, add pickles with tots as the side (for an up charge). The sandwich arrived as presented on the menu & not as ordered. Chicken was well cooked but very thick & didn’t cover the bun. We could have cut off a third of the bun. The tots were hot and fresh.
The woodfired cheese and pepperoni pizza was not good. There was way too much sauce that overpowered the entire pizza. The cheese didn’t seem like it was a good quality cheese, and the pepperoni was not the locally preferred cup and char. The pizza also was not cut evenly or all the way through. We needed a knife to be able to get one slice off of the pan. We ended up eating two slices and left the rest to be discarded.
In summary, this place is fun to hang out with a nice drink menu and a well stocked bar. Would not recommend for food based on the two meals that we ordered. Hopefully with this being a new joint, they will improve.
Again, Marissa was amazing. The place was filling up and she kept hustling to keep everyone served. She could have used some help for sure.
We wish we had a place like this back in Michigan.
The event space was awesome and so much fun. They have two simulators that guests could use to play golf, baseball, soccer, cornhole, and even bowling, which made the night entertaining for all ages.
The service was excellent from start to finish, and the overall environment was welcoming, energetic, and well run. Highly recommend this spot for private events or a fun night out!
They have bowling and a great simulator which does about 10 different sports, which we rented for 2 hours. Everyone had a great time. Good selection of beers also!!!!!
We kept waiting and I was about to walk out because I was so hungry when a runner was walking around the bar asking everyone if this was their order. They didn’t seem to have a system in place. It was my order. Burger was plain. Clearly bought & not made. My fries had no salt on it. My fish fry was dark. Looked like dirty oil or overcooked. It had no seasoning or taste.
Fish fries are pretty common, fast to cook, everyone makes it. Very disappointing.
Bartender asked how it was & for once I was truthful & said awful. She did take it off the bill.
Not a good first experience. Definitely won’t be back but maybe you’ll have better luck. I hope they turn it around and do well but I don’t think they’ll be open in a year.
I gave service only a 1 star bc I received a pizza that was only half gluten free when I expressed I had celiac to the server/bartender and she said this would be fine Gf. I took a bite of the buffalo chicken pizza and it was delicious however, there was crispy fried chicken on it and celiacs CANNOT eat that unless it’s gf breadcrumbs and both my husband and I explained that to the bartender. The bartender failed to tell the kitchen or to ask to double check as most buffalo chicken pizzas i’ve had were always grilled chicken. I understand many are also fried. She could have just said no we can’t accommodate that and I could have chosen one that was..
I approached 2 servers in the party room and the young red head girl had
no idea what celiac was or gluten free so she got another server or cook.
The short man with black hair came out and asked what the issue was and i explained and he asked me if i was able to read the description and started raising his voice shouting at me stating that no one here is a dietitian.
Why would anyone ask anyone if they’re able to read!!?? What a jerk. Again the bartender said they could make it gf! I explained to him they should be educated on allergies. We are now in 2026. He was a complete punk. He never apologized.
I asked him why he started shouting at me and his response was he couldn’t hear me he was having difficulty hearing me. I told him he was disrespectful and shouldn’t be treating me the way he was by shouting at me bc he was frustrated i returned the pizza. He was speaking normal
tone and it escalated quickly and i told him
that.
I went right to the bartender and the lady got the manager. The manager apologized and took the money off order. I also asked the manager if the young man had any difficulty hearing and he stated no one here is hard of hearing. The manager than expressed that the owner was GF but still likes his crispy chicken so “maybe” the staff thought that. You should
never assume. I said i had celiac and that all staff should be educated and he agreed. So please as the owner reading this, educate all staff. You would have gotten 3-4 stars on service, but there was pure ignorance from the cook in back and manager didn’t seem too worried on my concern. I felt it was brushed off to keep the peace going.
I did get sick from the gluten so i will
not be returning to eat there.. not sure i want to give business..and don’t want to see some faces again. Goodluck bc the staff could do better. I guess Friday the 13th is a bad day afterall.
To the owner that responded, I was NOT nasty to the red head. You’re covering your grounds bc your staff is very disrespectful and it’s your business. There are many mixed reviews.
I did send the pizza back, I did explain to the bartender of my celiac that i can’t have gluten. I’m 12 years out with this disease so i’m educated. I asked her if it could be gluten free. She said no worries so clearly there was miscommunication from
both ends, but still no excuse for staff to treat a customer like that.
You took the fee off, thank you. Just Do better. Good luck to ya. Again, reeducate yourself and the staff. Many staff at many restaurants know allergies. It’s not too common these days for the food industry to not be educated..You acted like you kinda cared in person, but your comment have some lies to cover yourself. Good luck to ya!
