Fairways Cantina was started in 2020 by three nearby residents (and mediocre golfers). We have a three-part mission: Provide above average wages and solid benefits to as many hard-working team-members as possible. We believe that if we treat our employees with respect and compassion, they will do the same for our guests. Build Community. Delicious tacos and hot dogs, with a side of really nice people working there, it’s worth your time to meet friends for happy hour or lunch. Don’t sleep on the margaritas!! Stopped by Fairways Cantina on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time. I tried two tacos—the Happy Gilmore with steak and the Merry Mex with chicken. Both were tasty, but the steak taco definitely stole the show. The girls working up front were super sweet and welcoming, and the venue itself is really nice & chill vibe with a great view of people playing rounds of golf while you eat. Will definitely be back!

Not just for golfers but fun to watch the course! Delicious tacos & margaritas with great service! Don’t skip the chips and salsa (huge portion)! Service was so friendly, even near the end of a hot Saturday! Super casual and easy parking when we went. Interior is a bit more fast casual-esque but the patio is really cute! Tip: They stop serving alcohol 1 hr before closing (not sure if closing time changes with sunset time). We were lucky to get there just in time!

An amazing under appreciated cantina. Margaritas are on par with the best bars in Austin. Tacos and other food is very good and very affordable as well. Beyond the great food and drink, the location is fantastic. It’s hard to find a better view at a casual restaurant/bar in Austin. Staff is phenomenal.
