We loved this place so much we went twice in one week! My husband is a connoisseur of onion rings, and he says these are hands-down the best in all of Central Iowa. I’m a pasta lover, and the spicy penne pasta did not disappoint — so flavorful and perfectly cooked. My son ordered the wrap and was raving about it the entire meal.
The atmosphere is great — plenty of TVs, a comfortable vibe, and several seating options that easily fit our family of six. It’s the perfect spot for families, game days, or just a casual night out.

We brought our family to Fairway Frank’s on a Monday around 5:00 and had a great experience. The food and there were plenty of options that worked well for everyone at the table. The service was excellent—friendly, patient, and attentive, which we really appreciated. It got busier around 6:00, but our server kept checking on us, and we never felt rushed. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed family dinner, and we definitely will come back.

We took our middle child here for a family meal. This is a fun kind of sports bar & grill. He had a pepperoni pizza with a hot honey drizzle. My wife and I split the hangover burger, which was very good. The drinks were a little bit on the pricey side. Also, the booth placement felt a little odd where it was pulled away from the wall so there was a bit of a gap. Those were small things though and I would go back again.

Wow! That’s the first word that comes to mind. For a Friday night, at the dinner rush, it was busy, but not so bad that the wait for a table was too, too long, though we ended up ‘cutting the line’ by sitting at the bar instead of waiting for a table. We did encounter a mistake in our order, but they corrected it immediately, with profuse apologies that we didn’t need because things happen sometimes, and to be honest, everything about the place was worth waiting an extra couple minutes for. A couple more minutes to enjoy the environment. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Great staff, disappointing food.
“Homemade Ravioli” wasn’t ravioli (picture attached), it was basically fried cheese balls, which felt misleading. My friend’s alfredo arrived late and tasted/smelled like it had been reheated. Staff admitted it wasn’t fresh and offered to remake it; we asked to remove it instead, and they did right away. Service was excellent, but the food quality and menu honesty need work.

I reached out to management about helping coordinate a special dinner for my family and they were more than accommodating. The manager, hostess and waiter were absolutely fantastic that night (and leading up to it) and I couldn’t be more grateful. All while they had a party of 27 the same night. The food was also delicious and I’ve been craving it ever since. Wonderful addition to Norwalk and will be a frequent spot for us!

Waited for 5th visit before leaving a food review. Wanted to give them a chance since they are newly opened. Overall food is average and inconsistently prepared. Communication between bar and kitchen not good . ordered the Smashburger with provolone cheese. It was served with chard American cheese. Husband was asked if he wanted wings or drums he requested drums he was served both. Wings are not crispy. One visit we ordered an app. while we were eating our app, our pizza was ready. The bartender asked if we would like our pizza now or hold it in the kitchen? Taco pizza is tasty Margarita pizza is not a margarita pizza. I wouldn’t order it again. Onion rings have been good a few times and super greasy another time. Drinks are good! Atmosphere is great if you like sports.

I’d heard positive reviews going in. The pizza was not bad, arguably better than Casey’s pizza. The service was slower than expected. It’s fine for a casual meal, though not ideal if you’re in a hurry. Atmosphere is nice with lots of TV on, kinda casual neighborhood that takes it time.

My family and I were so excited to try out this new restaurant in Norwalk. It was a pretty busy night and the service was friendly and checked in often. Our appetizer did take about 45 minutes to come out but they did kindly comp that from the bill. I ordered the chicken parm sandwhich and was so excited to try it however I was very underwhelmed by it. It was more so a fried chicken breast with some marina and cheese on a burger bun and was lacking alot of flavor. My family said their food was good and the nachos were tasty, I think I was the only one disappointed in my meal choice. Staff was friendly and facility seemed clean and orderly. Overall was a good experience especially considering how busy it was.

We heard about Fairway Frank’s through social media and wanted to try it. WINNER!! As others have commented the place was busy and for good reason. I was impressed with the quality of the food (Italian Dip and Classic Smash Burger) Despite being so busy service was not lacking. I think they underestimated how popular Frank’s would be. I rated the atmosphere one star lower because I’m not a sports person and sports bars aren’t my thing. However it is a good sports bar atmosphere.
And the food? WOW! WE WILL BE BACK!
