Local dinner, with extended menu. We stayed with friends in the area and visited the restaurant twice for breakfast. We had pancake, waffle, pastrami Sandwich, tuna melt, two eggs any style. They all were quite good with generous portion.

Expensive for a diner. The food is decent but they are cheap and won’t let you substitute anything and every little add on costs $$$$. The lady that answers the phone and takes orders is not that friendly. They don’t really care about getting business and making customers happy.

My wife was hungry so she suggested Fairmount Eats. We were there a while back and food was decent. But this time it was terrible. The place was empty with one other person there. I had the rueben and my wife had chicken sandwich with mozzarella and roasted peppers. Reuben had no meat, it was 2 thin slices of deli pastrami. Rye bread was slightly burnt, some cheese, saurkraut looked aged. Wife’s sandwich was overdone, like extra, extra crispy overdone. Bread was burnt, mozzarella was dry. Over 50 bucks for terrible food wasnt worth it at all. Gnats flying around the table. I don’t like writing bad reviews but we won’t be going back. Service was good though.

I was looking for a good lunch spot and ordered from this spot on the phone. I ordered the Eats Grilled Chicken. When I arrived I was greeted and the spot was super cozy. I paid and left. When I dug in the sandwich was good and I enjoyed the fries as well! All in all it was a good experience!

Great atmosphere, good service. We got the lunch special, salads were great. The burger had a fresh taste, cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend checking this place out, and next time I will make sure to stop by.

An institution in the local area. Kind of a warm, friendly, cozy cafe feeling. Pleasant decor. Super service and just about everything they serve is tasty. Always very busy with a bustling takeaway and delivery business. (see pics). Prices are very moderate. Located adjacent to the RR tracks, you can expect to see a commuter train zoom by at least once during your visit. Outdoor patio dining, weather permitting. Parking is at a bit of premium.

A delightful place. Very homey. The service was great, everything was fresh and delicious. Clean, well maintained with a spacious outdoor seating area. The hot coco is a must along with the oats and chocolate chip pancakes. But in general, everything we got was good.

The service was very speedy, staff were super friendly, and the food is just as delicious as ever (ordered the Cancun wrap this go-around). And the fresh-squeezed orange juice was a nice addition.
Also, I thank my waiter for being one of the most helpful and down-to-earth people I’ve been served by at any establishment (if I recall, first initial is Q). Keep it up!!
