Reviews
The tap list was good. We will be back for another try!
The drinks are made to perfection. Whether it’s a craft beer or a cocktail, everything is balanced, fresh, and clearly made by people who know what they’re doing. The food is just as impressive — flavorful, high-quality, and consistently great every time.
The pizza deserves its own shout-out. It’s not your basic pub pizza — it’s gourmet. Perfectly baked crust, quality toppings, and bold flavors that make you want to come back just for that.
The outdoor seating area is another huge plus. It’s comfortable, spacious, and has really nice aesthetics — great lighting, relaxed vibes, and perfect for hanging out with friends or a date night.
If you’re looking for a place with excellent food, top-tier drinks, and outstanding service in a great atmosphere, Fair Oaks Brew Pub absolutely delivers.
The last 1-2 years have been when I noticed a decline. They briefly had a brunch menu, which was so good! It went away, but I get if the numbers aren’t there it had to be cut. However, the menu is quite limited now, but I understand the benefit of focusing on only a few dishes per menu category during certain times of day.
Today was my third time coming to Fair Oaks Brew Pub and have had a poor experience. This time was the most disappointing, so I’m leaving a review with the hope for improvement.
My main problem with today’s experience – the service. It was only myself and my five year old daughter for a “mom/daughter day out.” We sat down, it took about 7-10 minutes for a server to come over with a menu and waters. I watched other people who were sat after us receive menus and water within the first 3 minutes. I told myself, “maybe the server is busy or didn’t know we were back here.” When the server came by, she was kind enough to check on the ingredients for one of the menu items. For food I ordered a side of fries, a side salad, and veggie potstickers. For drinks I ordered an orange juice and a coffee.
The server brings out the drinks first. Later, another person brings the fries along with two small plates and two square napkins. The server does a quick walk by our table to ask how things are and that is the last time she comes over to our table for the rest of the time we’re there.
The potstickers are next and then the side salad. No utensils are brought by. While I wait to see if the server comes back, I focus on the finger food and take a bite of the potstickers and was concerned that maybe the wrong ones were brought out, because there didn’t appear to be veggies inside but meat. However, the server never comes back, so I can’t ask for a fork for the salad or about the food. Eventually, a server for another table walks by and I flag her down and ask if I can have a fork. She brings over two sets of utensils and I’m able ask her about the potstickers. She says they put tofu inside and then leaves. I know some pretty incredible things can be done with tofu, but the filling really looked like the fried beef. I decided to leave them for my daughter, but she didn’t care for the taste.
Since there wasn’t much else on the menu, I figured it was time to go. Again, our server doesn’t come by, so it’s a bit of a wait until I flag down the owner/manager who happens to be walking by to pay.
I get it, I’m not their target clientele. I don’t drink, have dietary restrictions, and the menu is meant for adults. But in this economy, can the service be friendly and attentive? Where I walk away feeling, “well at least my business is appreciated.” I didn’t. I haven’t felt welcome here for a while. Overall, it was a disappointing experience (further impacted by the two men who sat next to us and decided to drop f-bombs throughout their conversation – which is not the restaurant’s fault, but an “insult to injury” to the whole situation) and hopefully it won’t be repeated for future customers. This place is really special to Fair Oaks Village and I hope others customers have a better experience.
Such a smart combination. You can get beautiful artisan pizzas, high quality sushi, crispy brussels, all in one place that’s casual and cozy.
The barbecue albacore is my fave. But the pizza, sushi, edamame were all extremely yummy.
Greeted nicely, felt welcome in this place seemingly full of locals.
The outdoor patio was the perfect place to spend a couple hours on a Sunday morning. The area is nicely shaded and setback from a quiet street. It’s large and the tables are not squished super close.
The menu is varied and they had several vegan options! My food was well-prepared and seasoned.
Will be back!
