We recently dined at F C Tacos and Cantina and had a mixed experience. While the stuffed Jalapeno poppers were quite good, offering a satisfying kick of spice, the Buffalo taco and blackened fish fell a bit short of expectations, landing in the realm of ‘okay.’

The ambience of the restaurant was decent, with the option to dine both indoors and outdoors. It provided a comfortable setting for our meal.

It’s worth noting that they offer a fusion approach to Mexican cuisine, so if you’re expecting traditional flavors, you might be in for a surprise. Overall, while our experience had its ups and downs, it’s a spot worth considering if you’re in the mood for Mexican-inspired fusion dishes in a relaxed environment.

After months of driving past here, we finally decided to give it a go. In case you didn’t know this place was initially called El Toro Loco and now it changed to this.

We ordered two different types of tacos – Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Butter Chicken. We thought we would get 4 tacos, because naturally you would think in one dish you would get 2, but instead we got only 2 tacos. One Jamaican Jerk Chicken and one Butter Chicken taco. We were surprised as we paid $6 for one taco . We were definitely expecting more quantity.
The flavors was no way near of the dishes we ordered. Very disappointing.
The prices are definitely much higher than we anticipated and doesn’t justify the quantity nor quality of the food.

The mango mojitos didn’t even have much mango, instead it was a regular mojito.

The restaurant definitely gets loud in here with the live music, so make sure if you’re coming here with kids, they are comfortable with loud music.

When you pay by credit card, you will be charged a Credit Card Service Fee. I don’t believe this. Even though the total came to more than $50, still we get this charge. No good.

One good thing is they give complimentary chips and salsa (great job on the salsa).

I think there’s too much hype around this restaurant – overpriced dishes and need more of the authentic Mexican/Spanish flavors. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming here again.

We visited this place late on a Friday night. The initial impression was great; the vibe and decor were impressive and fun. We started with two drinks, the new Lotus Blossom and the Smokey Passion, both of which were amazing. Complimentary salsa and chips were served before the meal.

For appetizers, we ordered stuffed jalapeños. The first batch was good, but the second was terrible, possibly because the kitchen was closing. The jalapeños were broken and a mess. We also tried the chili paneer tacos, falafel, and fried avocado. All were just okay but had a strange oily smell that made them unappetizing, possibly because the restaurant was about to close. The Mexican street corn was good, and the tots were decent.

However, the desserts were the biggest disappointment. Both the pistachio cheesecake and the chocolate tres leches were subpar. The service was mediocre. We asked for extra spoons, which took forever to arrive, and the check included a 20% gratuity despite the poor service.

Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and we will not be returning.

This place has an awesome vibe! The decor is live and fun! background music was amazing (old school salsa when we were there) and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Their menu doesn’t provide any big plate entres, just apps, variety of tacos, a wide variety of quesadillas, and a few bowls. They had a DJ booth that wasn’t occupied when we were there but we went around 1pm. So I’m sure at later times they may have a live DJ. Definitely recommend going if you’re in the area.

We were here little bit over a month ago.
Was in the area and didn’t find anything else at the moment so we stopped and try this place out.
Arrived around 1:30ish pm on Saturday there was almost no one at the first floor dining. Apparently there were party at the second floor, was one of the reason they brought our food for over half an hour long.
The food was ok.. honestly Tex Mex really not what I really like but was eatable.. I’m not so sure about tator tots, felt like breakfast time.
Place pretty nice and colorful, the workers seems all friendly but the food not the best.

Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how colorful and lively all of the paintings and lighting was. Everything was blacklight reactive or lit with color leds and it was beautiful. The food was incredible and just as colorful as the environment, as well as well plated. There are so many variations of tacos to choose from, it’s hard to decide what to get. I’ll just have to go back to try more. There was ample parking. Luisa, our waitress, was attentive and helpful in explaining the menu if you have never been there before. I recommend the birria tatortots. It was more than enough to fill me for a full meal. The churros were molten when they come out, so be careful when you first grab them!

Loved all the food we had a unique variety of tacos. The drinks were well balanced and delicious. I had the peach ginger sangria. Loaded buffalo tots were great with a little heat. Service was a little slow but they did open not long ago.

I was super excited to try this restaurant out. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted and sat. Gabby was my server and she was nice. The place was very nice! I started with some cocktails and got the smoking Daisy drink, which was a little too sweet, so I switched to call me Oaxacan, which was good. For my appetizer, I got the Mexican street corn, which was delicious. I then had the jerk chicken taco, which was spicy but not my favorite, and the chicken birria taco, which was really good. I also had the shrimp Quasadillas, and that was very tasty. They had a Mariachi band, which was great! I had a good experience all in all!

We’ve come to this location twice already and have been super happy. The food is really delicious. Great chips and tasty salsa. The appetizers we’ve had are the street corn, guacamole and chicharron, and nachos (not pictured). Of all, the guacamole is by far the best. The corn was a bit disappointing to be honest.
The tacos are where this place shines. They double layer and super load up the tacos. So smart. Our favorites so far have been the habanero, bulgogi, and chile verde (the best one). The margaritas here are also really good. Can’t wait to have enough room to try their dessert.
By the way, if I could give them a 6/5 for service I would. It’s incredible how responsive and quick everyone is to help. This is my new favorite place to eat.

Went for happy hour, which was really good. We only ordered apps, which were very filling and seasoned, perfect, nothing was too salty. Drinks were very refreshing. My favorite was the mango margarita ,which you can tell they used mango nectar 10/10 tasted way better. Also, I couldn’t help but grab dessert, which was a pistachio cheese cake, and it was amazing, very light and fluffy. I will be coming back soon
