I love Ethiopian food and have sampled dozens of restaurants over the year. The dishes I had at Eyerusalem’s Ethiopian Eatery were by far the yummiest Ethiopian cuisine I’ve ever had. Eyerusalem has a real talent. As if being an extraordinary chef wasn’t enough, Eyerusalem is an all-around delightful person.

We just had Eyerusalem’s Ethiopian food for dinner tonight for the first time. We had the vegetarian option and every item was outstanding. And it was all organic! We’ve had Ethiopian food in the East Bay from places like Asmara, Addi’s, and Ensarro (which we like), but Eyerusalem’s tastes entirely different. The flavors are so complex and new in the best way. Thank you so much for a fabulous meal— the best Ethiopian we’ve ever had. And, Eyerusalem is incredibly kind and you can really feel the food is made with so much love and care. We look forward to ordering again and again!

I finally got a chance to order, and the food was EXCELLENT! Had the lamb and beef with veggies, and Eyerusalem was super helpful, and careful about some allergy restrictions we had, but I also had the lentils and split pea. Also came with a super-fresh salad and injera, as well as a sample of Ethiopian tea. Everything was wonderful and a great bargain pricewise as well. Highly recommend, and looking forward to her opening the onsite location! Had a sample of the tibs as well, and with the provided hot sauce was delicious.

We ordered Eyerusalem’s food for our office today and everything was just amazing. She accommodated us last minute (which was so generous) and showed us how the dishes were eaten how to heat up the injera. She went above and beyond. We will definitely be ordering from her again.

Really excellent and authentic! Generous portions, super attentive and considerate about food allergies, and so so so delicious! My favorites were the beef stew and split peas. Can’t wait to try the lentils and lamb tibs next time!
