Mrs. Flip Out’s coffee quest lead her to Eye Opener before she hit the road home. It is inside the optometrist practice so you can walk-in for coffee or enjoy while you’re at your appointment. She ordered a breve and said it was the best breve she’d had in quite some time. Not too much foam and excellent flavor. It was simply perfect. There was also a small variety of to-go items and a smoothie menu. If you’re in the area, Eye Opener is worth the stop.

Incredible! The apple, banana, oatmeal smoothie tastes like pie and my latte was the perfect temperature, not too hot! Had a great conversation with the gal behind the counter.

Wow!! The white chocolate mocha was fantastic!! Highly recommended. Don’t let the front fool you it is in a eye doctor’s office. When we travel back from Texas to Tulsa we always stop in Elk City.

Really neat coffee shop inside a doctor’s eye office. The barista was nice and the coffee selection was extensive. I really enjoyed the flavors they offered. I had a maple, vanilla, and black pepper latte. It was really smooth and good, but the pepper was a little overdosed because I couldn’t drink the last few inches of my latte without being overwhelmed by pepper. Otherwise, really good.

This is a surprising find in elk city. I have to admit i was terrified the first time i pulled up and realized that Google maps brought me to an optometrist office and there was only one entrance. Yes the coffee shop is inside. And the coffee is amazing.
