The Yard Sale is my most favorite. The Mr. Pestato Head is also delicious, full of pesto flavor. I also like the Everest, and Drag It Thru the Garden (which is a great choice for vegetarians), among others. I’m not too crazy about the starter menu items. The wings and bread knots are okay, just not impressive like the pizzas.
While this location’s kitchen staff make the pizzas heavenly, the delivery staff quality varies. Sometimes I would get a courteous delivery person; and sometimes I would get a very rude and grumpy one.
I might try eating there one of these days, or buy a Take-N-Bake pizza.I passed by the store several times, and saw a clean store front. There seemed to be roomy and comfortable seatings inside.
How many years has it been now? I still remember when Extreme Pizza opened in Fillmore! It was clearly different from other chain pizza places or the typical neighborhood pizzerias. The restaurant was always packed with customers, and you had to wait over an hour for takeout orders. With that kind of popularity, Extreme Pizza expanded to many locations, becoming one of the best in its time!
But what happened? Many of the locations have closed, and now there are only a few left… It feels like so much has disappeared, just like the once-glorious San Francisco!
Today, I had lunch at an Extreme Pizza. It wasn’t the same vibe as before, but it was still nice to taste that familiar flavor. Yet, part of me feels sad, almost like the current state of San Francisco.
On the other hand the chicken tasted like it was reheated (it definitely was). It was definitely fresh out the freezer.
The pizza was not great, my girlfriend on the other hand said it was ‘good’ only because she was hungry. To me it tasted dry and unseasoned
